Cavs loss Tues was worse because they had 3 good players out which killed em in the 2d half.

It’s crazy how unwatchable/awful some these games are. There was a time in my life the nba playoffs were must see and generally good to bet. Now it pretty much comes down to who shoots it well or who cares enough to play physical and score in the paint and who just keeps jacking treys and getting so far behind nobody cares. Am I misremembering 20 years? I’m pretty sure it has changed to much to fast, nothing wrong w evolving, the nfl constantly changes shit but ya gotta give this to them, they find ways to keep 90% the games interesting for the large majority. Last year’s SB was the exception and most of us still kept watching cause we knew it could flip, at least til we saw the 1st few drives the 2md half! Then we might have had props still with chances or cashing in 4th! The starters were playing and trying unlike this shit where everyone clears the benches and saving it for “next game”, you would think they play and keep shooting to get it figured out for next game!!

Yeah, it's unwatchable. The 1st round was sort of refreshing with the physical style of play and refs swallowing the whistle - but it's sort of backfired as the playoffs have gone on. Less incentive to drive the ball because fouls are not being called just means another 50 3s a game from each team.
The league needs to ALLOW physicality via hand checking and using your chest/body without being called for a foul. Then, they wouldn't need to swallow the whistle when guys are legitimately getting their arms hacked driving to the rim. Hand checking would keep guys off their spots and reduce the # of 3s, too.
It's just a mess of a product.

I wasn’t a bad ball player I never been the typical basketball build, I was much more a middle linebacker and now a center:guard, lol. But I could play and part the thing that made teams want me on them I could defend bigs even tho I’m only 6’1 but I could push them around usually, or I could defend guards but only cause of hand checking, you take that from me and I’d look like Luka, a straight up revolving door to the rim id just give more effort!

Not begrudging them getting it if it there but if you a star making 50+ mil a year, or a role player making 10-20 mil (or whatever it is, I know ain’t none of them going hungry!) could you at least play most the fucking game? It’s basketball not boxing (clearly mathurin has never boxed in his life with that “punch”) or mma, they get a day or 2 off between every game, if it 30+ fine I guess sit everyone but anything less these mfers could at least play it down to 4-5 minutes left instead of playing 25-27 min a game, if that the standard you getting a pay cut on my team! It’s fucking impossible to stay up on props if you have to not only get lucky enough to cap it right then you gotta prey it not a fucking gutless no efffort blowout. I should have cashed every pacer prop I played but I only hit Turner cause none of them even played the entire 3rd!
