Memphis-4 over Troy. 5 units
Superior defense with Memphis . A plus 12 team and returning starting QB.
Rematch from last year .Mempjis won as 18pt favorite 38-17.. Tigers were 11-2 last year and are better this year.
Northwestern +28 over Oregon. 5 units
Starting QB Stone for NW was picked off 4 times in first game vs Tulane.
Last week he rallied and rolled up 245 yds passing. NW also ran the ball for 291 yds.
Stone trabsferred from SMU and his QB rating was outstanding playing there.
Oregon lost their starting NFL drafted QB Gabriel and new starter for the Ducks is Moore.
Moore was also at UCLA and was average in 2023 with a QB rating of 125.6.
After two games vs soft opponents so far this year he will have a hard time covering 28 pts on the road.
GA.Tech +3 over Clemson. 6 units
GT Yellow Jackets stung FSU last year in the home opener. This is the first home game vs ACC Conference.
Clemson lost to LSU last week, The Big reason was they cant run the ball. Clemson only ran for 31 yds.
Something that wrong, is hard to correect. They also only had 13 first downs?
GT returns 14 starters wthe QB.
Clemson returns 17 with the great QB Klubnik.?
Clemson won the ACC last year and averaged 35pts on offense and alllowed 23 on defense. So far they dont look like the '24 team.
Wisconin +20.5 over Alabama. 4 units
Bama is not the same team without Saben. This same team lost to Michign in last years Bowl game. Mchigan was unranked.
Wisconsin was crushed last year by Alabama 42-10. Line was +14.
After that beating - the Badgers also played solid games vs Oregon and Penn State..
Alabama got beat SU in week one vs FSU.. The 73 pts they put up on ULM ;ast week, means nothing,
Auburn -14.5 1H over USA. 4 units
Oklahoma is on deck for Auburn - but USA doesnt return many from last year. Tiger run game is unstoppable.
Temple +24 over Oklahoma. 5 units
Revenge game for Temple.
Sooners have Aurburn on deck next week in first game vs SEC.
Temple was beat by OK last year 51-3. Temple had 6 turnovers in the loss. Ok was favored by 43 pts in that game @ Ok..

Bulldogs lost 13 starters the the NFL. Geo also lacks QB strength. Looking for Upset by Tenn.
Revenge game for Vols.

USF playing with revenge from Last years 50-15 loss to Miami at USF .This game is in Miami. Expect the same result . The spread LY was USF +16.5.

Golden-Bears now have former QB from Ohio State, Devin Brown and former Hawaiian QB Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele, who tossed 46 TDs to 3 INTs last fall.
CAL ALSO HAS AN EXCELLENT 22pt defense in which 7 return from LY.
Minny lost starting QB Brosmer from last year and used the Transfer Portal to bring in Boston College and Old Dominion transfer Emmett Morehead.
Morehead will have to play at the level that Brosmer did LY to win this. I dont think he can.
