Tigers CAN hit... that's what they're all about.

The Sox pitchers cant pitch, their bullpen sucks, and they are MUCH worse @ batting.

I mean there might be value in the play with the fact Granderson is out for the Tigers but Contreas has declined each of the last 3 years. No pithcer has a distinct advantage over the other hitters stat wise. I don't know if I'd take the Sox, but I can say I just dont like big favorites because it's not worth it.

I think +121 is too much for Micah Owings to catch on the road against Mark Redman in Colorado. Probably will make a play there.

I do think that Hiroki Kuroda will be alright, but o/u 8 seems a little low for a guy making his first MLB start, against Germano who isn't exactly the safest bet either. Granted, its in Petco.

Feels like a sucker bet but I'll take the Red Sox at -103. They are coming off the road but had the day off today and a day game the day prior to that, whereas the Jays are playing as I type.

Kinda want to keep fading the Twins until they win a game...

Want to keep fading the A's until they score a run, especially against a guy as crafty as Paul Byrd. Real probable play there. Also some consideration for the under 9...

Washburn has ben exceptional pitching in EASTERN parks in his career & most away parks. However I agree I was wondering how SEA would react in Game 1 being its there first trip EAST of the year. Thought 1st 5 under possibly...:shake:

Odalis Perez is just about Albert Pujols favorite pitcher to hit. Looper is basically an unknown against the Nats tomorrow.

Well Contreras really finished the SPRING srong every getting some praise from Guillen. When he is RIGHT he is extremely tough problem is he has slumped for a year and a half. When we had him in NY he was Joba Chamberlain like when he was good minus the 97 MPH fastball of course. When he was bad he was Hideki Irabu and he has been stuck in Irabu mode since late June 2006 !! There seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel though with him...his arm slot is inconsistent and has always been the key to his velocity , command , slider and splitter..

Robertson seems to be throwing well so far and has had some success against CHI in the past probably due to a lineup which had some weak LHBs. Now its more RH heavy. RObertson also has some of the worst SPLITS ever in Day starts...BUT he managed to flip tha trend around last year and reverse the curse ! 3.69 in day and 5.38 at night..he tends to start quicly and had a great April last year along with 2 solid starts vs CHI...Quirky trend for him is he pitchers MUCH better on 6 + days rest in his career and finished his ST on Saturday so this qualifies I guess...

Both lineups struggling and both SP to be doing okay at the moment....1st 5 inn UNDER and slight lean towards CHI because of price ...Granderson already OUT , Cabrera MISSED today and SHEFF has a torn ligament in his finger now and should miss FRIDAY I think.....

In Milwaukee , Jonathan Sanchez has been hit or miss and not close ones ! His limited DAY splits are much better but he is weakness is facing RHB . Thats one of the keys of the MILW lineup its string of solid RH Braun , Hall , Hart , Weeks , Hardy ...Brew Crew Opener as well...seems like a tough spot for team struggling to score..Villanueva was solid as a starter in SEPT but was so-so this ST....maybe MILW -1.5 RL....and possibly an over because the Brew Crew should put up some runs here at least 5 I would think......

Well SD new lineup couldnt hit any SD starter except soft tossing Greg Maddux and Trevor Hoffmann. They didnt hit Randy Wolf today making it hard to believe they will hit Rich Hill.

In CHI , curious to see where Sampsosn at. Didnt seem to throw that well in ST but had a nice start to 07 before injuries started taking there toll. Hill is an exceptional young LH but Hous now has some deadly RHB and it will be interesting to see if Wolf today has any benefits for them....no real feel until I see where the price ends up.....

Also not sure about Owings. The kid was great in the 2nd H but he struggled pretty badly this ST and is definetly a guy who needs to keep proving hinmself. COL beat him to go the WS last year. Zona has alot of quality young RHB but they were terrible vs LHP and Brynes and Hudson really dropped off after great 2006 splits...will they bounce back ? Cueto abused them today and now they get the complete opposite can they adjust?

COL home opener seems like an opp for some runs to be scored...

Good stuff TUCK , he has really excelled indoors past few years and especially at Rogers Centre. Watching Tor hit and granted I didnt see much of the Mussina start they just looked out of sync up there. So facing a knuckleballer who has done well in the past is probably not something they are looking forward to. On the flip I see Tor's staff pitching to its abilties right now and thats a great thing for them . There staff impressed me vs NYY. Boston hopefully feeling blah after another long flight ...Under for me and probably the home team...

Det...my book tends to adjust quickly . They wont keep -130 vig up there long so when it went 9 over -130 they moved it 9.5 -110..think Cris/bookmaker also had 9.5 but heavier under vig...I just have aterrible book sometimes I get abit extra and other times like the 1st 5 INN I come up abit short getting 4.5 when every book had 5....anyway both SP laboring some already 2-2 Top 3 ..unearnedrun , 2run HR and 2out single...could be alot worse and alot better at the sametime...
