Friday Discussion Thread

Rare day we have to pay attention to weather in SD. That hurricane off Mexico is bringing rain and wind to SoCal.
 
I'll likely have some dough on Contreras ML tonight since I'll be at the game. Have always had PNC near the top of ball parks I've wanted to see and it worked out perfectly with me up here for the Vols game tomorrow.
 
Been to Petco a few times and not sure a stadium can compete with the location but PNC is next on the list. Just takes basically a cross country flight to do it.

Think I prefer cards Ff u2.5 or maybe a flyer on pitt +.5 ff, gotta think Mikolas will probably be pretty good, left handed hitters don’t bother him, friendly pitcher park, his struggles been mostly at tough parks for pitchers. Can’t imagine he gives up much. I do really like Roansy tho! He can def keep pirates in it. He has had a few slip ups but mostly been really good since the asb, kid has good stuff, I think he will perform better than last time cards saw him.
 
Long as Contreras sticks to what he has done lately and throw way more sliders he should be fine, only threw 24% sliders in stl, lately he been throwing it over 40%, that the ticket here imo.
 
I would've picked nicer seats, but I'm with an old flame's parents and they wanted upper deck behind home plate. I'd say it'll probably be a pretty good crowd tonight with Cards fans and then Vols fans in for the game. Do have great seats for tomorrow afternoon and am beyond pumped for my first weekend in Pitt. I'd say my liver will likely need a few days off after though.

Strictly to watch games I love up high behind the plate. Was in the absolute last row for g7 in 2001. Wasn't by choice, just lucky. Down low is for showing off which is more common :rofl:

Maybe I'll change my mind. Her dad is a diehard, so suppose he would know best. I had just heard that the third base side had the best view out to the river.
 
Yep I like behind home plate little up also, not like upper deck but hanging off 2nd is perfect (remember im blind!), great place to see how nasty the pitches reslky are! Seeing Roansy like that should be great!! Slider be sick!!
 
Was kinda groggy this morning and didn’t get ton of work done last night, im up and headed to casino now tho. I’ll post card here in 20-30 min

G7 the beer vendors stopped climbing about 15 rows below us. That was vital because not only wasn't I trashed, but didn't have to navigate taking a leak every inning. Was literally behind the plate. Seems like yesterday.
 
Guy live on FB is saying 80-90 mph winds in SD County right now, definitely check before betting it
 
so I really wanted to narrow this but I have such a hard time doing that, inevitably I leave out winners whole playing some the losers. I didht really have any particular one I loved more than the rest like I have last few days when I keyed on rox and cws TT’s hard, feel pretty good those cashed fast and by a lot! Don’t have that today, I have some I like more than others but nothing I’m just unloading on with it parlayed to whole card! So I kinda did tiers today:

If wind persists and it's projected to, it will be blowing in hard from left in San Diego. Real hard. Keep that in mind.
 
Only thing I took out was milw Ff tt under/reds Ff ml, decided to just roll wit Lodolo k’s there. Im worried how night and day he been home/road to bet this a bunch of ways. It not like cincy a pitcher park either so I’m afraid he just one these guys who plays better when he sleeping in his own bed/has same routine, I really dunno how else to explain it? Milw the only team that has hit 2 bombs off him in a game, they usually struggle w lefties but they got to him the 1st time in milw (once again a road start), even if he doesn’t pitch great he capable of fanning 7+ The reason I went this route.

I was super confused by their total to the point I almost left off, ended up making them smaller but I guess it makes more sense now. I knew it couldn’t just be cause Clevinger better at home, most that is cause he has faced mostly garbage comp at home! Felt like a no brainer lad get 3+ but now I understand it. Gonna be tough with long ball.

Slow moving to boot. We're projected rain the next 3 days here and SD is much closer to the center

Im assuming there no way they playing that game. I try to look at weather but San Diego not really a place I ever bother with, lol.

I wouldn’t play it -233, only cause he seeing tampa b2b, if wasn’t for that I’d say there still value at that number!

There no chance I sweep this card! Not just cause so many plays but there some weird stuff going on w lot the k props I played, it pretty rare they move against me and lot of them are.
 
Don’t tell me Roansy Contreras got scratched? He off the board at DK, I don’t like cards under w any other pirates pitcher!

I couldn’t believe he got bet down to 6.5. Friend of mine text me from casino asking me my plays and said he wasn’t 7.5 anymore, I was like “fuck man, what the juice”, he said -150 and I told him to put another 150 on it for me, couldn’t believe that got bet down! I wasn’t letting that shit slide!
 
Now I want to go put more on Stripling too. I paid -125 or some shit for him and I see +105 now. Too lazy to go back tho, ordering Chinese and hanging w the woman.
