Oh yeah no way i coulda gotten into UVA‘s phd program tho. People typically move down from their undergrad since grad school is way more selective. I only got one publication nothing fancy and my thesis wasn‘t very current

Turns out I was right bout my eye and other place bunch of morons, I have a totally detached retina so they sending me to another place this afternoon and saying I’ll have to get surgery asap. I was really hoping to avoid all this shit but doesn’t look like that happening. Sucks!

Im not 100% really. I assume I’ll know more after I see surgeon in morning. The way it sounded to me was had it been diagnosed sooner and hadn’t become such a bad tear it can be done pretty easily w laser but now that mine totally fucked think it a lot worse but not 4sure what it entails. I’ll let ya know after I see this dude in morning, it def doesn’t sound fun In any way, the 1st Dr today said it could take freaking months to recover, then the ones this afternoon said I might not even get my damn vision back. Not sure I want to go thru w it if I’m gonna be blind in that eye regardless.

Man this air travel thing is insane. Buddy is a pilot for Delta and said the other day in Boston the gate agent was offering passengers $10k to take later flights, time to go to pilot school!

United have negotiated 14% raises across the board for pilots, American just did 17%. Trying to keep pilots. Buddy is waiting for Delta and his union to agree but it will be in that range. Those are massive raises.

I didn’t make it up to casino, old lady didn’t want to go and didn’t think I should drive. My good eye worn out from all the test today. Off day, of course when I be cashing these bitches! Lol. If I did I’d have took a shot at Cobb over 4.5 k’s. Really just comes down to if he settled back in now, if he right and not on pitch count I’d think no problem fanning 5+.

I’m not sure why they yanking him from games at such low pitch count numbers. Don’t make much sense, if he hurt he shouldn’t be pitching at all. You def got fucked on that one bro, he shoulda cashed that easy.
