Think I am locking this one up and then try and figure out how the Lakers can beat anyone right now.

Have 0 idea how the line can go up. Will wait a little while hoping they get good news somehow some way.
Oh you are talking about Atlanta I guess. Could be true.

See what you mean about the Nuggets.
Memphis 3-17 at site. They beat Denver at Memphis earlier when Denver was playing b-b by 21 which was primarily due to a big rebounding edge. May play it. Very tempting honestly to see Denver bounce back off a terrible shooting game vs Philadelphia and smash Memphis playing in elevation.

there is also the team meeting angle and Andre miller suspended for 2 games..

The Nuggets were scheduled to practice Thursday, but coach Brian Shaw felt his team needed to talk more than it needed to play.

First, the Nuggets suspended backup guard Andre Miller two games for ripping into Shaw during Wednesday's home game against Philadelphia.

Then, Shaw told his players he wanted to hear what the rest of them had to say about the tumult within the team, which has lost eight consecutive games. Shaw and the coaching staff conducted meetings with each player, then held a collective team meeting during which players were asked to state their grievances. With the team spiraling down and showing a lack of effort in recent games, Shaw felt the meetings were needed.

Nuggets coach Brian Shaw held individual player meetings on Thursday as the team is in a long losing streak. (AAron Ontiveroz, The Denver Post)
"However long it needs to take to try to flush everything out and figure out what's going on with our team, we decided to take that time," Shaw said Thursday.

Asked if he was confident the meetings will help, Shaw said "yeah."

"There were a lot of things that people wanted to get off their chests," Shaw said. "They were given the platform to get it off their chests, and collectively talked it out on what we felt needed to be the common denominator moving forward. And I think it was pretty unanimous that it was hard work and effort."

Denver's 114-102 loss to the 76ers on Wednesday was a particular sore spot. Philadelphia, a young team likely headed toward the draft lottery, had won only two games on the road all season. And yet the 76ers played as if they wanted to win more than the Nuggets did.

Fans at the Pepsi Center quickly picked up on that and booed the home team, including when the Nuggets were walking off the court before halftime and at the end of the game.

"We have nowhere to go but up from here," forward J.J. Hickson said afterward. "I feel like we have reached rock bottom."

Denver dropped to 14-17 and plays Memphis at home Friday.

Shaw, who was peppered with "Go back to Indiana" and "Bring back George Karl" jeers from some fans Wednesday, took the blame for his team's lack of energy against Philadelphia.

"That's on me," Shaw said. "I've got to keep on seeking and searching, try to find ways to motivate our team to play harder. We can coach a lot of other things, but I still have to continue to try to find the guys who want to get out there and play hard, and I'm doing a poor job at that."

Figuring out each player's problems is Shaw's latest attempt to do just that.

Miller, meanwhile, will miss Friday's game against the Grizzlies and Sunday's road game against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Nuggets suspended him for "conduct detrimental to the team."

Shaw said he didn't talk to Miller on Thursday, though he reached out to him. Shaw said he will talk to Miller before he reinstates him. He said he has no ill feelings toward Miller and has every expectation of being able to work with him. Miller wasn't made available to comment.

Nuggets guard Ty Lawson said the meetings were needed.

"When you lose eight games in a row, emotions are high," Lawson said. "It's an unfortunate situation that the team is going through. This should be a turning point. Everybody got their feelings out. Everybody said what needed to be said. Hopefully everybody will take that to heart and just change and we can start getting wins."

During their losing streak, the Nuggets have lost to teams with a combined 147-103 (.588) record. But the defeats have been trumped by the manner in which the Nuggets have played.

"There's going to be ups and downs," Shaw said. "It's how you come back from that, that shows what you're made of. Right now, we're at a real down period. Two and a half weeks ago or however long ago it was, we were up. We were at the end of a seven-game winning streak. These things happen in a season. It's just trying to nip it in the bud, so that a little snowball rolling down the hill doesn't turn into a big avalanche."

Had a hallucination. Atlanta is on 2 days rest where they stink instead of 1 days rest where they are super. Still a decent Days play but have to think about it now

I still think it doesn't matter in this one, tuck. The letdown spot for after the Miami game trumps that imo.

And the fact golden state plays like shit in Friday road games. Probably went out to party in Atlanta last night

Pretty sure nba requires teams to fly in the night before.. Doesn't allow same day of game travel unless weather emergeny..

pelicans desperate for a road win,, their next 2 road games will be tough..,,thoughts?

Ryan Anderson left tonight's game on a stretcher after colliding with Gerald Wallace. Gave the thumbs up so that's a good sign.

Thought I could get the best of getting the line early but Memphis gets the backdoor cover. 1-1 on the night. Sad

Brief explanation for the lousy total. In b-b Utah was 3-7 under. Off a win 2-0 under by large margins. Lakers at home on Friday 4-0 under. It lost because Kendall was awesome tonight. First luck for the Lakers in some time.
