Free Agency and Trade Discussion March 2026

Evans 60/3 for the 9ers. Guessing that third year is sort of option. Haven't seen more details. Supposedly was getting 27+ from other teams but turned it down.

Like the signing because of how poor the 9ers have been in the red zone. Seems like he'll fit the culture but sure wish he was 29 and not 32.

Unbelievable...This is the craziest FA day ever and it's not even close ...

These retired players in their 60's have to be shocked ...One old Bills WR that we see at the Gym is always saying things like " They don't even really get tackled anymore , have to let them catch it , and then gently bring them down "

Tua Tagovailoa will reportedly sign 1-year deal with Falcons after Dolphins release him this week

Tagovailoa is getting a fresh start with a franchise that's undergoing a transition itself

Oh man I'm liking my Saints divisional futures even more ...Haven't seen Tua throw a 10+ yard out Since Milano almost decapitated him .

Tua is the prime example of a noodle arm

K9 had a nice playoff run with Zach went down but man they didn't like this guy AT ALL this season before that. Chiefs again buying the NFC West's garbage.

Think he's vastly overrated as well ...Drove me nuts as a fantasy owner watching this dude have 1 good carry than run into his own lineman 3 carries in a row like he was blind ..Only to have Zach come in and look great. .

One more hit to head, and there goes the neighborhood. Not being a hater, but he needs to retire. Along with Geno Smith. Murray should go back to baseball.

Huh.... I mention baseball for Murray and next day they write an article about it.

Many in the org and local media always thought he would have preferred baseball if he wasn't the first overall pick in the NFL. This shouldn't be shocking. He was the 4th overall pick by Oakland I believe.

Yes, I remember it well. More guarantee money in football then anything he could have made with Oakland.

When you think about it what a terrible beat to be drafted simultaneously by the Cardinals and the A's. That's some insanely muddy water to trudge through.

Do Raiders try calling the Cowboys up now? Or have they lost too much leverage/market because of the fact Maxx failed the physical?

That’s going to make a lot of teams wonder about whether or not there was a bigger injury reason they shut him down early at the end of last season

Happy to get Bradley Chubb as a rush outside linebacker in the new 3-4 scheme .

14m per is worth it considering

Although his 10.5% pressure rate in 2025 was the third highest of his career, he was double-teamed on a career-high 23.1% of his pass rushes, which contributed to his career-low 7.8% pass rush win rate.

@scarf31

Pete Carroll just assured Jets Nation that Geno Smith is a great QB and he would be alright as the Jets’ QB1.
After his trade, Carroll praised Smith heavily, while also admitting the Raiders’ disappointing 2025 season was on the coaching staff.
“He's a phenomenal quarterback, he really is. He had a fantastic offseason and preseason with us, and he comes out in the first game, has a great first game.
It was all fitting. It was exactly the right time for us. Then we just faltered and faltered. We didn't do well enough, coaching.”
Smith’s numbers in Vegas weren’t great:

🔹
3,025 passing yards
🔹
19 TDs
🔹
17 INTs

But Carroll says the failure wasn’t on the quarterback.

“We should've had him better prepared for the things that happened, and that wouldn't have happened. I take a lot of responsibility in that.”
“We didn't prepare him well enough in the off season even though he looked great and we felt we had everything lined up. It was very, very disappointing for us both.”
Now the story comes full circle.

Smith originally started his career with the Jets after being drafted in 2013, and now he’s back in New York with a chance to rewrite the ending of his NFL journey.

This thread so far has delivered on a bunch of very less than mediocre teams making even worse than mediocre decisions. Why do we love this shit?

Who knows what CJ Gardner Johnson has in the tank ( weird saying that for a 28 yr old ) , but this is another Bills signing I like .
