I've been listening to a Badger show on the way to work the last few mornings and the players are saying all the right things about wanting to bounce back after a tough loss and winning a premier bowl that Wisconsin hasn't been in before. I'll probably continue to put money on Wisconsin as long as I can get it at 7.

UW-O has one of the best defenses in the country and Mount Union showed that a solid defense can shut down MHB. A big thing in this one for me this is just the second time MHB has left Texas to play a game this season. They'll be in Virginia in what is expected to be weather in the 20's with a 6-8 mph wind. I'll give the advantage to the Wisconsin kids in that one. Probably will grab that moneyline when it's available.

I felt that since Wisky is going up against an undefeated team, that alone will make them come out to make a statement. Western Michigan was a fun team to watch this year but they played in a VERY weak MAC conference. They're going to have trouble with Wisconsin at the LOS. It will really show as the game progresses. They'll wear them out. Stop #84 and wisky could knock them out good. 41-17
 
Be interesting to see how the line moves. With having a 3 still available, I figured I'd grab more on it while I could. A lot of arguments can still be made for LSU, such as 'Ville suspending their coach. Hoping 'ville becomes a favorite and I'll probably buy a bit of the $400ish back on 'ville.

Fondy, your thought on SDST if you get a minute because I just don't see it. SDST play anyone with a defense like Houston? I think we have mismatch with Houston being far superior and a HC they'll play for.

San Diego St definitely has not played a defense as good as Houston this season, but I really don't think it will matter as I don't think theywill be able to do enough to keep Donnel Pumphrey in check (although they have done so against better lines and Ed Oliver has the potential to completely disrupt SDST game plan). Houston is 0-3 when allowing over 150 yards on the ground this season and SDST hasn't had a game where they rushed for fewer than 170 (of course against lesser competition). I'm also banking that we see the bad Greg Ward Jr. in this game with the SDST defense creating some turnovers (led nation in interceptions). I also don't trust Houston to be "on." They play to their level of competition too often (1-6 ATS in last seven with the only cover being their outright blowout of Louisville as a 17+ point dog). Offense should likely be fine with Major Applewhite taking over the head coaching duties, but I'll be interested to see if he can avoid any blunders of being the man with special teams, defense, properly calling timeouts/challenging. I think he should be fine, but there's an unknown that I think can only hurt Houston (unless he tries a few trick plays and they work).

With the current numbers, I would probably switch up my money line and spread bets (and buy to 6 -120ish). Will be hitting this game again shortly on the totals (game over, team total, 1st half, etc). One of my outs just pulled the game in last few minutes and haven't figure out why as of yet.

North Texas has zero business being in a Bowl game. They've lost 4 of last 5. Defense gives up 5.1 a carry which isn't good vs a vengeful Army squad. North Texas has an impressive win vs S. Miss. In all their losses they've been buried. GL
 
Lets see if I can keep this losing streak going. I'll update my first post, and losing record, sooner than later. Lacking motivation to do so.

Might be the worst run I've ever had. After Stanford blows the cover, that puts me at 2-27 since the Troy game last Friday. Nebraska looks like they're well on their way to making it 2 of 30.... fml
