Fishy lines this week…

Fly, Eagles, Fly!
Ok. A lot of “strange” lines to me. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Saints -1 vs Giants who just beat a very solid Chargers? I don’t give a fuck if it’s in New Orleans. The Saints are TERRIBLE.

Undefeated Eagles only -3 vs an inconsistent Broncos team in Philly?

The Bipolar and QB shaky Vikings -3.5 at Cleveland? A Cleveland team who plays much better at home. Is this because of QB situation in Cle?

Dallas -2.5 vs a horrific Jets team? Wtf. I know Dallas has a terrible D, but seems they should march all over the Jets?

What am I missing with these?

I mean, the Browns were also dogged by 7.5 at home against Green Bay, so I don't know how surprising this line is. People will look at the score of their last game and become interested in the Vikings.

The Jets are bad but also close to being 2-2 (tight losses to Pitt and at Tampa Bay).

The only spread that actually surprises me is the Eagles at home to Denver. I would have favored them more heavily for sure. I see them at -3.5 now.

Devil's advocate on Vikings. It's so easy to just say Flores vs. bad qbs but you can't discredit the losses on the o-line.

Wentz was getting destroyed by the Steelers d line. 6 sacks. Myles off an unremarkable game might go beserk here. IF Cleveland takes Mason away what are you left with? Wentz could be running for his life every down.

Vikings allowing 130 rushing yards per game. Van Ginkle makes that D go and without him they are a shell of what they can be. Judkins props might be a breeze

I'm not too excited about a Browns play, just pointing out that the Vikings are far from a slam dunk.

Sounds like a great argument for the under! (along with Flores vs. bad qbs)

This is a coinflip game for me. Saints played well lw and could have seriously been in it if they didn't try that circus play on 2nd and goal lmao. Rattler played well and they can win this one going away if they replicate that performance. Credit to NYG but the Chargers gave the ball away so many times. Dart without the threat of Nabers on the road. I like his energy but it could be a tough spot, very interested to see how he performs here. I would be interested in Dart rushing yards maybe as a prop, Allen could have ran for 70 last week if he wanted.

35.5 is such a low number I would never. Could be a 14-9 game and they trade garbage tds late... so many reasons to stay away can't wait to bet it
I still think the travel thing is a big edge...you know this from experience, having to face a Jags team who had already spent a week over there

After reading last week's Schefter article about Viking logistics I was high on that angle as well. Melatonin and sunlight? Genius. Big Public behind Steelers? Even better. Now.. overwhelmed by my own cognitive dissonance - I'm convinced that travel logistics didn't outweigh bad line play and the "big public" I had envisioned was probably pretty small at 9am, albeit a huge majority.

Yup.

That OL a disaster.

I also think the travel matters. I just came back from Ireland from the football game. That 10 hour plane ride doesnt hit you the 1st day but the second day is brutal.

I’ve never taken one that long. What does it feel like? Fatigue? And why is that? All the sitting? The dry air?
