SF ML +165; 2.5 units
NE 2H TT over 14, -120; 6 units LOSS
SF/Sea 2h over 20, -115; 4 units

Mrs tee*dub not happy with me. She has joined me for the super Bowl in Vegas for many years. Taking my 21 year old son for his maiden sin city voyage this year.. Mrs Dub stays at home.. She not happy..

IMO Harvin makes the Hawks offense so much more dynamic. Though he only played a couple dozen snaps, he changed the look of that offense dramatically last week.. Personally I think he was concussed after first hit and then in MMA style, second hit just bruised the brain a little more.. Really wonder his status and we wont know for sure until near gametime.. He reminds me of the offensive equivalent of Bob Sanders.. always in the middle of collisions, always making electric plays and because of style, always getting hurt.. Love the kid, always have....VERY INTERESTED IN HIS STATUS

Harvin suffered a concussion during last week's Divisional Round Weekend win over the New Orleans Saints and has not been cleared by doctors.
"It's super disappointing for Percy," coach Pete Carroll said Friday. "He wants to play. You could see it. He played his tail off when he had his chance. Just unfortunate circumstances, you know.
"... But we have functioned the way we function because we don't let things like that get to us and disturb us, and how we're thinking, and how we're preparing and all that. We would love to have him, but not this time."
Carroll said that if the Seahawks get past the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, he expects Harvin to practice next week.

I got the niners +4 at the open for a big bet.......this injury helps........however, he only played 16 snaps in the regular season and last week only really changed the looks that the saints got.....wasn't a big factor in the outcome.....IMO

Home field advantage in Seattle getting way too many points here IMO.. What you make it on neutral? Say this is the superbowl, in warm weather stadium.. I got my line, tell me yours

Not sure on an exact number but I'd have SF favored in that situation.

Seattle is very good without Harvin and you are right, he wasn't involved in that many plays, but the ones he was involved in, you could tell, if healthy he would be a beast in the next two rounds IMO.. Seattle offense late in the year was very pathetic, now facing top defense and without a serious upgrade (harvin) like it SU

gotta make it 3, right? May have pressure to make it 3.5.. So seattle HF worth 6-7 points? nah, maybe in regular season vs the Rams, ya, but not vs SF who most have #1 in power rankings ( I do)

add: SF ML +165, 2.5 units

and bump SF to Top unit at the 3.5

neither will last thru the evening IMO

Love it. Like you said home field getting a little to much love. That and the fact that Russell Wilson has been playing on a Sam Bradford type level the last 3-4 weeks. Best defense he has faced in that time span coming up this week as well. Carlos Rogers coming back even in limited capacity helps. Seems like Kap has settled down ever since his boy Crab tree has been back and it has been huge for this team. Think they are the best team left in the tourney and expect them to move on. GL Tee

Tee: i am superstitious on things like this and almost don't want to post in your thread.....but, good luck & I agree with SF ( I am so much in agreement that I have been trying to talk myself out of this all day)

way to make it a father/son trip dub..have a good time, and gl.

I am very nervous for some reason.. seriously.. We are extremely close-- he is almost a clone of me.. Not sure I want to bring the "vegas element" into play, but here we go.. advice is welcome..

if you're going to mention my teams QB at least get the spelling right. It's Sam Badfraud. Tee, would you take a shot at Johnny Football or would you go with Clowney with the #2 pick? My thoughts being realistic because Snead and Fisher like Badfraud so much is! take Clowney because if they can't block Quinn with Chrissy Long on the other side, imagine what Clowney would add. The entire Rams team changed when Quinn blossomed. Or was it when Badfraud went down?

Wise - all the teams below rams need qbs. I'd trade down and get in a more desirable cap slot. If football doesn't go #1 there will be a couple teams who will want to move up IMO . Clowney is a bad seed - I wouldn't draft him but that's just me

My dad is my best friend, one of them at least. At first it was weird drinking with my dad and doing all the crazy things guys do, then it was just fun. Especially if he is at an age were he is able and legal to do what he wants.

At least for the first time together I would just do the gambling part..I dunno if you do the whole strip club, night out thing...but maybe steer clear of it at least the first time..see what his reaction is to the scene first and what he thinks, especially if he talks to mom a lot. Obviously try not to get shitfaced drunk around him the whole time.. he is still just a kid lol...when he's older it will be easier and he won't care.

Show him around, explain what you do at the books, get some good food, yada yada..kind of see how he reacts.

Have fun, we don't get moments like this all the time.

What hunt said, sort of, I was also very close with my Dad and we did all sorts of fun shit together. The first time we did Vegas together, I suggested nudes and he obliged. Didn't barrage me with lap dances or anything weird, just sat and drank for a while. Let him make the calls on how far to take it, it will be a great bonding trip for you. Enjoy.

fwiw-- I have Broncos in second leg of ML Parlay combined with CBB yesterday but won't be adding to that game unless I see something at HT... My bankroll focus today is clearly on game #2...

GL- like many have already said--- this is my favorite Sunday of the year!!!

Tee….i am older now and have done it all with my dad….he is a great guy (85 now and still full of piss and vinegar) and i treasure all the moments i was so fortunate to spend with him….we were at an xmas party recently and the next day he was bragging "i drank 5 blue moons and drove home" so awesome…..enjoy the time with your son

What are your thoughts on 49ers TT? I think they are going to score in the 20's and am close to pulling the trigger in the TT but would love to hear your thoughts.

As for the father son thing, I've got two different personal experiences with it. My dad and I never did that kind of stuff, he was strict and drank out with his friends a lot but it was never anything we did together so I can't offer anything from my personal experiences other than that would seem like a foreign planet to me. Now my father in law and my brother in law are a different story.......they started hanging out like "buddies" when my bil was still under 21. It has put my bil in some weird situations and I think it's screwed him up in some ways as he has a hard time shutting it down now. They almost went too far with it and I'm not saying you would, but that would be the only caution I would offer.

I know plenty of guys that took their sons to Vegas for their 21st birthday and it was a great bonding trip that never really turned into a green light to party together all of the time. From the sounds of it, that is what this trip would be for the two of you. I say have a great time. I hope to do the same with my oldest son in another 5 1/2 years.

T: Took my son/friends to Vegas @ college graduation. Ate great, had cocktails in Sportsbook and Casino bars and looked and talked with ladies [ i was single], gambled. Great time....we luckily both won. Personally, I could not go to strip clubs etc with them...guess I am old fashioned. Have a good trip

Gonna be a stressful day for Vegas. Books in an unusual situation needing favorites to win and cover today. SU wins by the dogs could spell disaster given the public love

Ute- two top 10 defenses in the playoffs is usually not a good recipe for overs. Personally I lean all the undres in that game no plays but could easily see winner with 17 points. Gl today

When I turned 21, my folks took me out to Las Vegas. I was dirt poor, living in El Paso in college and delivering pizza to pay the rent ( back in the days of making ketchup soup from my fast food ketchup packets that were left over from a mcdonalds order). We were there four days/nights. My father put a little cash in each of 4 envelopes for me to gamble and have fun with. It wasn't a lot of money looking back at it now but it was nice to have some gambling money beyond the pittance that I was able to save up prior to the trip. He gave me one envelope a day and inside each was a little tidbit of wisdom or advice. I remember the last envelope .... the message said "It's not how you start, It's how you finish". I went home with nothing but had a great time and made great memories with my folks .... sitting playing the VP machines at the Sand's listening to live music, my Mom hitting jackpots on some Zodiac machines ( Taurus - her sign ) which she really enjoyed as she had just finished writing a book on numerology, astrology etc etc , having a beer with the old man, and just the whole Vegas experience. I remember the first time I saw the strip .... I thought I was on another planet. Now it is just the same old group of buildings but when I was 21 and in Vegas for the first time .... just will never forget it. Anyway .... great opportunity to bond and make memories your son will never forget. Take advantage of it ... Then again ... I ended up becoming a professional gambler so maybe you should avoid it ....

Thanks, I appreciate the insight.

Enjoy it big man. Can't wait till I can take my pride and joy to Vegas. It will probably be a much different place when that happens.

I have two boys, and am somewhat still a wild boy at 35...my oldest is 19 years younger than yours, but I will be following this story closely. Has to be so cool to spend time with your son in Vegas.

So, obviously NE can score vs any defense and this is not a top defense.. Belicheat had a bad gameplan and will adjust .. If broncos run out, which I think they will NE will score at some point even if its late.. That's one scenario... the other scenario is the game gets tight and for that to happen, NE needs to score a couple.... Bronco blowout with no resistence from Pats is worst case scenario and I don't see that..

Seattle -1 would be my number. If I were making a number for public consumption, I'd make Seattle -2.5.
