I wish I could say this is a solid, exciting fight night, but that's just not the case. It is better than that lame card last week however, and I do have a few plays. The Main Event is decent, although possibly one-sided.

I've enjoyed 4 straight winning weeks and good fortune so far in 2025...

  • Medic (10-3) is the huge favorite despite getting KO'd in R1 in his last fight Jan 11. That was a huge upset and I was quite high on him before that loss. The old adage "anyone can get caught" applies, however, and I do believe he will totally outclass Urbina (7-3). ITD and under, maybe R1.
  • Rodriguez (12-3) is a highlight reel fighter who loves a brawl. Fili (24-12) has been that giy before, but is probably near the end of his run. "Touchy" is 3-4-1 in last 8 with 2 of the wins questionable splits decisions. Both fighters like in-close striking, but it's "CeeRod" who counters better and is more technical striker overall, plus 7.5 years younger.
  • I like Hill (18-14) as a live dog. She will be way more experienced with sharper striking. Lucindo (17-6) will have youth on her side and she's a good striker. I think Angela's pace will be a little more than Ianmin expects, and her volume striking should add up on the cards. The over is likely a lock, but at -540 it's basically unbettable.
  • Anthony Hernandez(14-2) enter the main around -300 chalk, that may be kinda stiff, but Dolidze(15-3) has lost 2 of last 5. "Fluffy" has won 7 straight with 5 finishes. he will showcase a well polished precision striking game, averaging 4.5 sig strikes per minute while only absorbing 3. He's also well-rounded, also averaging 2.1 takedowns per round(5 min). His crazy cardio and pressure allow him to force his pace and game on opponents. Dolidze's ability to avoid taking big damage and keep the fight standing could ultimately give him a chance, but I'll have to side with youth and aggression.

I managed another winning night, barely! (5th in a row) Every time I see "Fluffy" I'm amazed how dominant he is but by the time he fights again, I have forgotten. That won't happen again, this guy is a problem and likely future champ.
