February Ice

Finally a good night. 45-50-3 -5.92 units on season.

Tonight:

Buff +120 2
NYR +120 2
NJ -160 1.5/-1.5 +195 .5
TB -130 2/-1.5 +215 1

Good job last night.

Buffalo? Can you talk me through that? I can't bet Buffalo right now. Hard for me to back a team knowing they are probably going to get dominated all game long and are only hoping for Miller to stand on his head. (Been real inconsistent all year, very good as of late)

Dollaz - I wrestled with this one, especially with the fact that Ott lost their last 2 home games, but think there is decent value with Buff here. Ott has really struggled to score since Spezza went out. Ott goal totals L5 games are: 0, 2, 4, 1, 0 in order of most recent first. Ott is 1-4 over that stretch. Buff averaging 3 goals/game on the road this season and is 3-3-1 in divisional games. Buff is 6-2 L8 meetings in Ott and is finally healthy. I know Buff is pretty generous at giving up shots (and goals for that matter), but notice that in the last meeting between these teams on 2/5 Buff only gave up 24 shots, which is tied for the 2nd lowest all season (lowest being vs. Tor in 2nd game of the season). Buff lost the game on 2/5 at Ott 4-3 with Enroth in net. After allowing 82 shots against Miller over past 2 games, I am pretty sure LR will have his team focused on keeping that number down (which also makes me like the under). Good luck with whatever you decide.

Adding:

Edm -1.5 +255 .5
Fla -1.5 +220 .5
Min +1.5 -165 1

Thanks Dollaz. Needed a night like that. Tailed you on the Pens 1P too.

Now 55-57-3, -.22 units posted for the season. Hopefully get back in the black on Saturday.

Well, if you are gonna lose one, thats the way to do it. GS was pretty much toast after the TB game. Some good no plays for me so I can't complain. Season 55-58-4 -2.52 units.

HDIA:

Pens -155 4
Win +130 2.5
Chi -140 4
Min -130 4

May go back to the well on the GS under

What a way to start hockey day in America. Heck of a game between Pit and Buff. Would have liked to see Buff get a point out of it, but more important to secure the W. Cant believe we are at the 1/3 mark of the season already.

Prez day:

NJ -1/2 -130 (reg only) 2
Phx -1/2 -115 (reg only) 2
CBJ +180 2
Fla -110 2

Fla and Cbj on same card.....holding my nose

ill be on fla and cbj as well, I've lost a bunch fading Anaheim on that road trip, and will be mad if the lose comes now and I stop now on the biggest dog yet....cbj has been playing tough too,
good luck!

Thanks Scope. Both playing 3/4 but Ana worse travel and a long break after this game. Hoping they start their break a little early with the holiday. CBJ has had success vs. Ana, including winning 3 of L5 at this site. Ana just beat Nash, which was an important game for them. CBJ could be looking at a winless trip if they drop this one.

Win/Buf over 5.5 -115 2.5
Tor +130 2.5
Nash -130 2.5
Chi -130 2.5
LAK -130 1.5
LA/Edm under 5 +110 1

I'm adding ut TT...Col had a lot of injuries early on but their youth is starting to gain experience
Col TT over 2.5 -125 1.2u

GL

Sorry that TT didn't hit Blood. Easy one in the Burg though. Flyers just have the Pens number at Consol. Fun game to be at, but I hate when they lose to those guys. My head is a little fuzzy from the Blue Light, and it is a little painful to do arithmetic, but looks like 66-66-4, +5.55u ytd.

Tonight:

Car -150 2u
Buf +110 2u
NYR -130 2u
NYR/Ott under 5 -120 2u
NYI +135 2u
Dal +125 2u

Didn't get to see a lick of the games tonight, but looks like its gonna be a losing night. Need Dallas to mitigate the damage. Saw an excellent hockey movie tonight called The Last Gladiators. The film has been shown in Canada and was in the Toronto Film Festival last year. It premiered in the US tonight at a small theater in Pittsburgh. It is basically a story about hockey enforcers, and specifically Chris Nilan. Really enjoyed it and I strongly recommend to any fan of the sport. Chris Nilan was there in person and participated in a Q/A session at the end. This guy is really a unique individual and his story is amazing (and tragic at the same time). It was good to see he is clean and getting his life in order. Check it out if you get a chance.

Thanks Blood and Play. 69-70-5, +3.15u ytd
