*That 2H total in Portland last night was pretty much an under bettor's nightmare (milking the shot clock but still making every shot - I mean, seriously, I think they missed all of one shot the first 5 minutes of the 3rd quarter). Anyways, the Heat have already laid the lumber to the Sixers twice this season to open up games (60-54 at Wells Fargo in November, and 57-42 at American Airlines in December), and that was with the likes of Michael Carter Williams, Tony Wroten and KJ McDaniels doing the scoring for the Sixers. Well, unfortunately, those guys aren't around anymore, so for a team that was already operating at a -7.9 point differential in the 1H of games this season (-10.4 the last 5), things aren't likely to get any better against the Heat. Admittedly, the absence of Chris Bosh isn't ideal, but he only suited up for one of the two previous matchups this season, so that's sort of a wash. Plus, those two games pre date the emergence of Hassan Whiteside, so with Erik Spoelstra apparently open to the notion of pushing the pace a little now that Goran Dragic is in the mix, things could get pretty bad, pretty quick tonight for the Sixers.

Just for "fun", I decided to make a graph to chart my season to date. Insane. Just insane. December where I dropped 11 in a row, won 10 in a row, and dropped another 11 in a row all within the same 32 game span. And February where I dropped to just above -30 units and had to reel off 13 in a row starting at the All Star break just to get close again. Seriously, you can't make this stuff up. Next year, maybe I'll just end it in November and call it a season...

*Doubt I hit all three (might not even hit one), but can't see this keeping up from a Sixers perspective (no Philly turnovers, no free throw attempts from the Heat, no typical Sixers 18 point quarter... yet.) Hope I'm right...

*Hard to imagine the Grizzlies offense coming out flat for a third game in a row. Plus, with the way the Kings are pushing the pace now, might be be able to get away with as little as 40% from the floor and still hit 100 with time to spare.
