Please post in this thread if you will, or will not be returning. I would like confirmation from everybody.

  • Settings from last year rolling over.
  • League dues need paid before the opening game in Week 1 (Thursday, Sept. 4).
  • Anybody not paid by then will have their roster frozen until they pay.
  • You should have received a league renewal email from Yahoo, so please login to the league and confirm everything looks correct.
  • I will set up the LeagueSafe in a few weeks to allow everybody to respond.

is anybody NOT good with the draft date & time? always our biggest challenge to agree on...
 
most of the remaining have been active lately, but i'm a bit worried on @Throwback420 and @thetruth . been months since both have been online, so need to keep an eye out there. hopefully the Yahoo league renewal email and football on the horizon brings them around.
 
I can do any date. 930 is probably the earliest I can do a draft because my 3 year old is a pain in the ass and won’t let my wife put her to sleep.

Also if you guys know if any other money leagues and need a player ill be interested especially bigger money leagues
 
I’m in! Just tell me when and I’ll figure out how to be there. I do prefer the 9pm central start, earlier is harder with trying to get kids to sleep

Hey guys, I've created a guillotine league on Yahoo and am looking for a few more teams. I have seven signed up or committed, shooting for 12. That would take us from Weeks 3-14. I haven't done one before so this is testing the waters. The basics: $25 entry, paying first and second. Draft night is Wednesday, Sept. 17, 9 ET, 6 PT. Well, the hottest team in the league will be sitting at home for the playoffs. My current five game winning streak wasn't enough to salvage the 1-7 start as this will be the first time in years that all six playoff teams have at least 8 wins. Changed my team name based on running into the following buzzsaws:

Week 3 - scored a decent 125, lost by two as Hurts got 30+
Week 4 - put up a solid 127 but Love got 30+ and Matt Yag hit 178 yards worth of FGs
Week 5 - a decent 114 but Javonte had 29
Week 6 - underperforming 113 as a favorite but then Skattebo put up 30
Week 7 - a good 122 but lost by 3 as squeaky AJ Brown got 29
Week 8 - again favored, had a decent 116 but ran into Taylor 39, Barkley 34 and Boswell 22

Will put my best available team on the field this week and end roster acquisitions in deference to the contenders. Good luck in the playoffs!
 
I feel you, Gandy. This goes down as possibly my worst team/performance in a fantasy football career that dates to 1985, when I was running a league with 32-player IDP teams and spending half of Monday determining scoring with USA Today. I know others did the same thing. My first three players were duds to start the year: Nabers, Walker and Chase Brown. I thought those two RBs would be bellcow types with receiving chops and represented good value, but that didn't work out.Followed with a couple players I thought could have decent years, Metcalf and Ridley. Then it didn't matter what moves I made, they were wrong.

Started out 0-7, which apparently is a league record for consecutive losses, according to our site. I was bent on making a push, to no avail. Like you, I will put a team together this week and step aside so the contenders can duke it out.

Congrats to the playoff teams, and I'll see you again next year.

I need 25.1 from Hurts or 18.1 from Goedert tonight to win the regular season cash or it looks like it will go to Henry.

my miracle run has come to an end... looking back at the regular season i won 5 games by 4 pts or less - one game by 1.02 pts and another by 0.7 pts!


payments will be done on LeagueSafe when funds become available at the conclusion of the games. looking like a good finals matchup! BOL!

crazy how this game works.

If not for the wind/weather last Thursday, probably would’ve lost - swapped kickers to avoid it.

Great matchup? They were both trampled in my late season push. I feel like Joe Burrow, or Notre Dame.....best of luck all.

I got cucked on the waiver wire for the finale, I was thinking hard about benching Hurts. Good luck Henry, couple big Q this week with Amon Ra and Treveyon….
