Detroit -2 @ Philadelphia

Look at it pretty hard guys.

I will post some some stuff later about it. Just a heads up.

Almost certainly a good play. I may have screwed it up moving it to 3 but it was minus 15 cents and I am really sick of minus numbers. Detroit in first game of a b-b 9-0 su this year and coming off the Bulls game!!! GL

Tuck...-3 will be no problem.

Detroit was 18-1 on either end of B2B's entering the Knicks game 12 days ago...an unreal stat for any team.

Huge stretch this week for Detroit against some bad ballclubs before going out west again. They are talking of taking care of business. I expect an utmost efficient performance out of them Tuesday night.

Philadelphia is so small that Detroit will kill them on boards as well. It happened in first meeting.

No doubt about it..I said I was leaving NBA alone for month...but some plays merit some attention...2 units -2 -113

BAR you been laying in the weeds lately bro. Is this a stalk situation?

agree here, i see Billups is day to day, is possible he will be back by tomorrow ? With him its very very promising. PHI showed some life lately but cant be consistent during games and these stretches costed them better results. I like to hear Stons want to take care of bussiness cause longterm its only they need, to be motivated enough. GL bro

The last 4 Sixer wins after the pathetic losing streak have been vs. Knicks, Celtics, Blazers, and Nuggets.

This team is pathetic.

Looks like Billups maybe later in the week/weekend possibly. I still dont think he is all that missed in this stretch of games...guess I am quick becoming a Delfino fan and looking for him to get more time then Murray at the point. Philly has shown some life and its tough at this point to not like Det minus a small number. I only wonder why it was set so low? Then I think back and remember they played in philly when AI first started missing games. So last they didnt have Miller and the Pistons had Billups and they were able to hang around. So if this line hit +4 I might ghave to jump in with the Sixers....not cause of anything more then the line getting abit ahead of itself... philly played fairly well last 5 games of the trip and had some rest now.. I am just playing the other side out...

That was first of many artilcles I read today Brian...when Rasheed speaks like that...take listen

B.A.R. would you take 3 units at 3.5 I only have a betfair account and can't buy points... I think I could get odds of 1.85 on that line latter in your evening/my morning

You don't think it's wierd that DET is only favored by 3 pts? I think the under is a better value. But then again, Bar, you are the DET expert.

The line moved there. It was at -2.

take that for what it's worth.

i couldnt believ e this line when i saw it

hell, i still cant

i dont care if im running point for the pistons, theyll blow em out of the water

rip always seems to play well in front of his home town boys as well

wow did i get screwed at -3 -110 might hit philly +120 and get out of this debacle..although that would lead a chance for a painful middle

Weird line movement as home dog got alot of action.

Hope we're on the right side, BAR. Let's do it.

Here's what I found on the injuries.....

Detroit
Date Pos Player Injury Status
01/09 3:17pm F Rasheed Wallace Disciplinary is expected to miss Tuesday vs Philadelphia.
01/08 7:59am G Chauncey Billups Calf missed last game, downgraded to expected to miss Tuesday vs Philadelphia.
Billups is not expected to return until the end of the week from his strained right calf injury. Pistons coach Flip Saunders said there was an outside chance he could come back Tuesday against Philadelphia, but considering that Billups has not run since the injury, that seems unlikely.
01/06 9:31pm C Dale Davis Illness missed last game, "?" Tuesday vs Philadelphia.
Philadelphia
Date Pos Player Injury Status
01/09 3:20pm C Steven Hunter Personal is expected to miss Tuesday vs Detroit.
01/09 5:08am F Chris Webber Foot missed last game, downgraded to expected to miss Tuesday vs Detroit.

Line movement....

Havent seen anything like this in a while. This is one of the biggest public plays in a while % wise.. and the line is all over the place. Did the Detroit plane crash or something?
I mean i went through the starting 5's and Philly still is outmanned..
but who knows, lets do this bar

Prince's comments followed a practice that started with a talking-to from coach Flip Saunders. The message was about accountability. On Monday, at least one player was not on the floor when practice was set to start, so Saunders delayed the start for about an hour, according to a team source. It was unclear who wasn't at practice on time.
hmm

Yeah, WTF is going on with these lines. I had to HEDGE my wager w/Detroit. I am in WITH PHILA @ PK. Not sure if its a smart move, and I hope I don't get bit in the behind.

if the line moved liked that cuz sheeds out I really do not think thats a big loss against the 76ers pistons still roll big

I hope you don't middle yourself

I think it's a combination of the Sixers playing better as of late and the Pistons having some internal/injury issues. According to my system, the Sixers are the "right" side.

From a matchup spot it's hard to give Philly the edge.....Gl whatever you play.

Tex - hope not, I think in that situation you may have been better to wait until HT to try and dump some at hopefully a better situation. Hope it works out for you.

Holy shit....Rasheed sure ain't out...and he's playing solid.

Detroit had them at 40-28 and could have put them away but didn't take care of business before half....
