European Hockey, Oct 12th...

NHL Road Fade Guru
Moving this over from my Oct 11 thread (all are leans so far):

Djurgarden/Brynas

Daniel Larsson in Djurgardens net is playing great at the moment. Bryunas is missing some key players due to injury and currently only have 11 forwards and 6 defenders healthy on their roster. I will check into this game more, but I am leaning Djurgarden here, at home...

Linkoping/Farjestad

Linkoping played with their backup keeper in the last game, but Cechmanek is expected to start for them here, which should mean that they are strong defensively again, especially at home. Farjestad has a good PP, but has some injury concerns... leaning under and/or Linkoping...

Blues/Tappara

Two teams that are struggling offensively right now. Most of the last 5 for either team has gone under 5.5, and that's the way I am leaning here. I want to get some more info and see the line before commiting...

KalPa/HPK

HPK should've won their last game, but messed it up in the end. KalPa is continuing to play bad hockey, and I don't think they are strong enough here. Kimmo Kapanen is in goal for KalPa, but they have injuries on forwards Savolainen and Virtanen, which won't help their offensive production. HPK's first choice in net is out with an injury, and they are replacing him with Mika Oksa, who played lower level Swedish hockey last year. Leaning towards a low scoring game, maybe 1 goal the difference and a HPK win late or in OT.

SaiPa/HIFK

SaiPA is averaging over 7 goals in their home games and HIFK over 8 goals away... Both teams won in their last outing. Junior Aleksis Ahlqvist is playing in net for HIFK as their 1st choice has been awful, and that is a slight improvement. HIFK is also missing defenders Pasi Saaronen and Cory Murphy. Jan Hrdina, forward for HIFK, is also expected to miss the game, but they have other players behind that can pick up the slack.

Strong lean on OVER, and slighter lean on HIFK.

Not punched yet, as I want to check the latest info tomorrow morning:

Plays for Thursday:

Sweden:
Djurgarden -0.5 +105
Linkoping/Farjestad UNDER 5.5 -108

Finland:
Blues/Tappara UNDER 5.5 -122
HPK -0.5 -128
KalPa/HPK UNDER 5.5 +112
2u SaiPa/HIFK OVER 5.5 -127
HIFK pk -106

I played all of these... I guess I should've waited on a couple, but oh well...

charvik, good luck. Do you look at Russian Superleague at all?

Nope. I can't get any info on it at all except stats... My Russian is not what it used to be either, so I can't get anything from the Russian media...:drink:

LOL, yeah, Pinny is scared of these games, as they are having a hard time setting lines. Check the european books for better lines and larger limits. I post the Pinny lines on my plays here because most people use that book, but I place most wagers with Interwetten, expekt, svenska spel, ladbrokes and other based in Europe...

Updated record:

Finnish Sides 8-6-5
Finnish Totals 12-10
Swedish Sides 10-6-1
Swedish Totals 4-5
SWE/FIN YTD 34-27-6, 6.33 units

NHL Sides 4-5
NHL Totals 4-3
NHL Salami 2-2
NHL YTD 10-10, -1.45 units

Up and down... but it's a long season...

It's a matter of time before these European books shut us down.

I'm not too worried about that personally, but I have dual citizenship and place most of my wagers through a proxy server in Europe anyway... With Neteller, which shouldn't shut down you shouldn't have any problems depositing at the Euro books either...

Pinny raised the total to 6.

Not as exciting as it sounds. I have a computer running (a server) at my brothers house. I connect remotely through Terminal Services, place my bets through an anonymous service based in Poland (that doesn't keep logs) and then disconnects... all sports book transactions goes to my Swiss Neteller account, from there to an account in Luxemburg (regular bank), and I have the option of withdrawing from that banks VISA or the Neteller card for the Euro Neteller account.

I originally set this up to avoid paying taxes in Sweden, but it works great for the new situation in the US too... I was actually paying US taxes on profits, but won't be doing that anymore... serves them right for adapting 'socialist' laws.

I would still play it. No big deal with the extra .5 goal. I guess it would mean a push if the game would end on 6 goals, but 6.5 would be worse...

Wow. Money pouring on the under now. Under 6 -129 now. It was just -107 a few minutes ago.

Tappara +0.5 @ -127, 2.5u, Pinny, 58% chance
Tappara ML @ +124, 3u, Pinny, 48% chance
Blues - Tappara under 5.5 @ -107, 5u, Pinny, 55% chance

Good luck bro! I think Tappara is the right side in this game too. Blues is struggling on offense, but have a good HFA, so I will settle with the under.

Screw Pinny. I went to go put 2u on the over, but their limit is 100 on this too. It was just a few days ago when I was able to put 5u on a game. WTF

Sure thing, just that the prices were really nice ones and I had to take them taking into account what they should be...

Also Tappara holds nice record against Blues in away games in last 5 matches. Have won 4 out of 5 and the only loss was by 1 goal as well. So tough game in perspective.

And when out of last 10 games 7 havegone with 5 or less goals (4 out of 5 @ Blues) then you have to pick those.

Sometimes it is hard to understand them at all there.
Of course you can bet multiple times but at changed prices though

I read something about the refs stepping up even more on taking penalties, and I guess we are seeing that today. A bunch more penalties then normal...

Great scoring, unlike what we saw on Tuesday.

I need to find a real book with real limits. I let it stop me from playing the over today.

3-2 KalPa... not looking good at all... Mika Oksa in goal for HPK. I thought he would be able to play as well as last year, but I guess not... :(
