Thoughts on The Game:

-- I think the only reason Phi is a fav here was their performance against miami, who I still think arre over rated. Records can be very decieving, afterall hornets have one of the worse record in the west. Trust me they are playing a lot better as they got used to their makeshift line-up, especially now west and jackson's back. Let's look at who they beat lately, Lakers, Wash, Orl.and these are top tier teams. You win against one, you'll call that luck( Philly's case) Cmon' it takes more than luck to achieve what they did.

-- I'l just give you the reasons Why I won't bet Nuggets. First and formost, 4th game in 5 nights. I personally think this is an over-rated trend. These guys are paid to play ball everyday, every night. 48 min a day, actually 40 the most with rest in between, nobody plays the whole game? you gotta be kiddin me! What makes the difference is the day time practice. Seriously no coach in his right mind will kill his players with a hard practice on a sched like this.( Thanks to NBA Live 07)
Secondly, Line seems to short, Vegas is up to something. I've said it before and I'll say it again. There is NO FIX!!!!! I've already spoken to my friends employee who used to be a top manager in a big sportsbook/casino, and he said it just does'nt make sense. Logic behind it is, Out of the 50+ games played in a day ( All leagues), the Vig itself is enough to cover one, two or even 3 lopsided games, afterall, the outcome will most probably end up 50/50 for them. So why go the extra mile, spend a lot of money and risk a profitable business to earn a few bucks more, Capisce?
Lastly, Sonics are streaking. Yehey for them, they beat Utah who was slumping, cavs on the road, and errr Bucks????

DUY my only concern for NOH is that they are playing out of their leauge right now and they have to come back to earth sometime..THey have covered 5 straight and now are a public road dog, I dont think they can keep it up, they have become over valued. The Sixers are coming to fruition and Ill take a short number at home against a less then stellar inconsistent road squad in NOH. GL though.

This Is The Most Intelligent Thing I've Ever Read
on these capping boards. Thank you sir. Totally agree. I play sports all the time, not just an armchair capper and the more I play, better conditioned the easier it is to recover and play the next. For guys who are trained their whole lives to play - 40 minutes on the court is not a big deal. I could understand the Tigers falling apart after a week layoff before the series with the CARDS. Long layoff times are the demon. Not consecutive playing. Anyway. That Vegas sucker bet theory is also bs. I live an hour flying time from Vegas. Been there my whole life. Know people in the gaming industry. Such a paranoid crock that a few linesmakers are spiking numbers to draw you into a losing team.
