Pre season: - $5,000

Reg Season: 20-16 +$11,550

Really feel like one!!!! I was happy resting on our vacation house outside the city, I had a friend place some second half wager on hou, then I suddenly had the urge to bet more, drove home just in time to do live betting, blew away almost 5k of winnings on stupid totals, ending the day down almost 1k. Stupidity does have it's price.

Thoughts on NOH:

I've said last saturday, Nets Find a way to just win games against sub-par teams. Now, take away your second leading scorer, and playing against a pretty decent ball club, what's left of them?

Let's Look at the match-up:

Kidd vs Paul

-- Pretty even, with Kidd having an advantage on defense and Paul having the advantage on the offense.

Wright Vs Mo pete

-- Pretty much evenly matched role players.

Rj vs Peja

-- Probably the only position that NJ might have an edge on. But If Peja does get hot, hmmm...

Kristic vs west

-- Unless Nenad goes back to his pre injury ways, West hands down.

Collins vs Chandler

-- 0.3 pts, 2.2 reb, 0.2 blocks, 0.3 Ast. Thats what collins is, pretty impressive for a 7ft Starter. So much for all the Defensive presence talk!!

Bench

Nachbar ( that's it) vs Jackson, Armstrong, Butler pargo.

-- Oops think I forgot Magloire. Oh right, He avg. more fouls than points.

Intangibles:

There are 2 ways for nets to play this. The traditional half court set, which of course they will get crushed inside. Or they can experiment on playing a run and gun style, which I believe HOrnets can be pretty good at, as we saw with nuggets and Lakers.

Look ahead to toms games:

Lines are myy estimate. No toals since I really suck at it.

Bos@IND+2.0

-- Since last year, I don't quite understand Pacers they seem to have all the right players to put up a fight but they always end up being the shit squad of the East. However, I cannot ignore the fact that they are pretty well stacked, and can hang with any team including Bos. Probably a small play on Celts.

Sea@Orl -10.0

-- Sea seems ok on the 1st half, and falter during the last quarter. I would wait for 2nd half hoping for a nice line for Magic.

Mia@Cha -3.0

-- Make the most out of the times wade isn't playing. Probably another bet I wll make on the Home team.

Hou@mem+5.0

-- Again, Pau has been terrific on 1st half, and virtually useless on the second. What scares me though is that Grizz has tons of bodies to thow at Yao. Probably 2nd half if I can get Hou-2.0 or better for the game.

Phi@Dal -11.5

-- Thanks but no thanks

LaK@Sas -9.0

-- Your better off flipping a coin. This will all boil down as to whether Kobe is gonna be hot or not.

NYK@Pho +7.0

-- Interesting team this Knicks. They look really good on Paper, but with practically the same team for years now, they can't seem to gel. Will not touch this until I know Bell's status.

Det@Port +6.0

-- Blazers seems to play pretty well at home. Would lean that way as well. Might be able to get a better value if you wait out till half. Last 2 games Portland was getting 12 pts, and 7 pts I think for the 2nd half, and won the game SU. And thats What I call value.

I think your probably going to have to lay closer to 5 on the celts tomorrow. If it opens at -2 the public including myself are gonna pound the celts. It was -3 at tip at NJ, they are gonna be laying more at indy. I think the suns will be a double digit favorite as well. -7 seems a bit low. Others seem pretty close. Orlando line shouldn't be quite that high and i think Charlotte will be closer to 1 then 3.
