Ferris just has better athletes across the board. You could kind of see Harding struggle a bit vs UTPB's athleticism. But Ferris had what UTPB had on D, plus better dudes on offense. Harding needed almost a perfect, mistake free game. And their 1st two drives were a 3 and out and a fumble and boom, it was 14-0.
Harding is not equipped to play catchup, but they were able to cut it to 21-14 at half. But 2 quick Ferris 2nd half scores, and the game was over.
Harding loses a ton on their offense. Guys that had been playing for 4 years. Ferris will lose guys to higher levels. I think their QB looks like he could play just about anywhere. Should be an interesting off-season.
