Team Totals
Panthers 20.5
Eagles 27.5

Since week 3 every team with the exception of Seattle has absolutely shredded this Carolina defense. Hell even the bears put up 24 on them. The question you should be asking yourselves is why should this stop tonight? I don't think it will. I think the Eagles offense doesn't miss a beat with Sanchize behind center. In fact I believe tonight will be up your first look at next years starting QB in Philly. I could be wrong about this but Sanchez and his athletic abilities fit this system to a T. You could be witnessing a rebirth starting this evening. Can the Panthers score enough to stay in this game?

Couple things jump out to me. Philly has scored 20 or more points in all seven of their games this season. Carolina has given up 28 or more points in five of their eight games. Carolina defense is giving up 31.7/ppg on road and Philly offense is averaging 33/ppg at home. I'm expecting Philly points tonight and don't see Carolina keeping up. Bet on Philly team total over, Philly ATS, and Philly 1H TT over.

There's actually value in the Eagles right now because people still think up Sanchez as NYJ sanchez. The system will be fine for him & there wont be a drop off from Foles

Well, lets not read too much into what Sanchez did last week when he came in to the game after it started bc Foles got hurt. Nobody was game planning for Sanchez. The Panthers have had all week to prepare for him. Panthers aren't that good, but if we are being honest, neither is Sanchez. Laying 7 at home with a back-up QB against a Jekyll and Hyde football team in Carolina is the text book definition of "gambling" IMO.

Carolina will run, run, run tonight and with demeco ryans out, a vulnerable Philly rush defense might allow Newton and Co to control the clock and keep the Philly offense on the sidelines.

There isn't any NFL tape of Sanchez with a real offense. With weapons all over the field. The last time he played with weapons like this he was still at USC. This offense isn't going to skip a beat with him, in fact it might be more efficient with him running it. He adds the threat of a QB running and scrambling.

Carolina has no chance to stop the Eagles offense, but as an Eagles fan, this game scares me because the door is open for Carolina in that bad division. This should be a high scoring game.

I agree that people may still think it's the old Sanchez, but where do you see 'value' in the Eagles right now? The line has been bet up to a full TD...do you think it would have been much higher if Foles was playing tonight? I just don't see where you see value due to people's opinion of Sanchez.

Very true. The one good thing for Philly is that their offense doesn't need much time to score, as they run the offense at hyper-speed.

Not much value in the Eagles but there's no value in the Panthers getting 7 either.

None of the Panthers' RB's are any good and if anything, Shady is the one that will be doing all the running. Panther rush defense is decidedly worse than the Eagles.

The 'better' team has had it's way in Week 10.

Chip > Riverboat Ron

Nice thing about betting on the Eagles at a large number is they use their short pass game as the way of burning clock as they have no power run game. So If the game is sitting at 7 in the late stages of the 4th, Chip always rolling for the TD and moving the ball.

I am not sure about the eagles defense but the offense is lethal against any defense. I might just enjoy my team play instead betting on this one

Whatever Philly did to Luck in week 2, just incorporate that tonight. Carolina O-line is banged up. Philly got a ton of pressure on Luck, despite no sacks. They also kept him in the pocket.

Doubt they're queuing up to lay 7 with the Sancheese but you can bet greater NY and NJ is lining up to grab the points.

With foles it woulda opened at -7 not -6. Didnt matter anyway

This guy knows his eagles

With foles it woulda opened at -7 not -6. Didnt matter anyway

The line ended where you thought it would open with Foles anyway, I still don't see how there was value....had you said the line would've been 9 or 10 I could understand. If one point is value to you (and that point gone when you posted anyway) I'm thoroughly confused.

The fact it was bet up to 7 and not down from the open showed that a lot of people didn't, in fact, think there would be a huge drop off to Sanchez. Most know that Chip makes that offense, not the QB....many said that when people wanted to make Foles out to be the next big thing.

Lareux, while i never would brag post like that if i wasnt drunk & excited bout the birds win, I do think you are wrong about one thing... That one point can absolutely make or break value, especially when its below 7, A huge number in NFL scores. If i think a game should be -3 & it comes out -2.5, same deal. Those numbers are key to me bc its a full td or fg. The fact that the line came out with the equals not even a full touchdown favorite is where i saw value. In the end of the day it did not matter because they destroyed Carolina, but im always looking to take -2.5's & -6's if im on a favorite

And actually the fact that the line and did where I thought it would open with, and I got that bet in at a smaller number, is the exact definition of value
