Losing confidence all over the map right now, not just soccer. How the fuck did Israel not score today? Not like I watched it but those stats say they should have scored at least twice. Fucking bums. Lose at home to Macedonia and Albania in the last two, I guess they finally realized they didn't stand a chance to advance with Spain and Italy in the group but it seemed like they played so well to start off. Defeat setting in.
This appears to be a must win match for Sweden today to advance from what I can tell...they'd still be very alive assuming Oranje beats Bulgaria today but who the hell can count on that at this point?

Couple thoughts after capping that not that anyone will read them lol....I figure Greece plays not to concede against an obviously powerful Belgium who may score by accident but not really positive they don't just go through the motions at this point because they're in. But Greece need to hold of Bosnia still so should put out the typical defensive effort we expect from the Greeks. Probably shoulda played under and still might. And dammit, I'll never learn to quit fading Portugal but they're in, hard to see them put up much effort here. Same with Swiss, could be a sleep walkin I'm thinking.
French on the other hand I think need to put up a large number against LUX with Swedes still within reach to let not only their group know of their dominance, but it's high time they make a statement to the world if they're gonna be what we think, contenders for the Cup next year. Obv have the talent but an incredible number to me:
Belgium-33:2 goal differential
Germany-29:2 goal diff
Spain-24:3 gd
France 15:5 gd
That doesn't scream contender at this point for a team that I think may well be the most talented in the world. Hell, Spain who I'm pretty convinced at times could not score even if there were no GK in net...that's ridiculous (today aside). French need to assert themselves against a country that's barely even the size of a city to not only gain confidence, but let the world know they're contenders. Perfect recipe for some 7-0 type game I think.
