Registration Rules:
- Contest will start April 20
- Registration starts today and will continue until 11:59pm EST on April 18
- To participate you must have a 5Dimes account and send your account # to the Administrator (if not previously sent)
- A currently funded 5Dimes account is not necessary to participate in the contest
- If you do not have an account - you can sign up here to be eligible
- Aliases will be disqualified
- Please state in this initial thread that you are participating
- You will be added to the participation list in this thread pending confirmation CTG has 5Dimes account information on record
Contest Rules:
- Lines from 5Dimes will be posted daily in contest thread by a moderator
- Two members will be matched and the member with the most units at end of period will move forward
- 20 picks should be made in each head 2 head period scheduled over 12 days from the Monday start until the following Friday (first period April 20-May 1)
- Days 13 and 14 will be used to grade the previous period and a new period will start on Monday for those who won the previous period
- Picks may be chosen from full game totals, money lines, and run lines (alternative run lines and first five innings wagers are excluded)
- If less than 20 picks are made, each game less than 20 will be graded as a -1.1 unit loss (Example - If only 17 picks are made, 3.3 units would be deducted from total)
- No maximum or minimum picks per day
- Picks may be posted at any time up until the start of the game (no grace period will be given)
- If a line is not available when a mod posts the initial card, members may post the added 5Dimes lines for everyone's use
- Pick are based strictly on the teams listed and subsequent pitching changes will have no effect on the contest lines
- Create a new post for any additional picks, editing of posted picks is not allowed and will result in all picks in post graded as a loss
- If there is a double header please specify which game is your pick
- There will be a new thread for each period to post your picks
- Tiebreaker in a head 2 head pairing is based on the time stamp of the member who submitted their 20th wager first
- The first period will be a "seeding round"
- Reseeding will take place after each round and records reset (top unit winner will take on lowest unit winner and so on)
- Tiebreakers in reseeding, if necessary, will be given to the longer tenured member
- Pending number of participants the second period may result in some byes
