CTG by far has the best college forum...

Thief
Sorry to clutter the board and I know this is a useless post but I was looking for some info and visited a bunch of forums and even those with 20 X the members here. But our college football forum blows any out the water.

Unbelievable the number of solid cappers and info we have on college foots in here.

I already stated this. By far the most knowledgable guys .. im not gonna bring up other forums, but there really isnt any comparsion. I am predicting sooner than later other mods will be coming over here ( if not already) to see what plays we have.

Totally agree; every thread (except this one, LOL, j/k 'Horn) in the CFB forum has value.

Very true Horn..

This CFB forum has already surpassed expectations and will only keep growing.:wacka wacka:

Never truly bet CFB before, because I dont get nearly as much coverage in Canada and I like to have an observational capping to my game too... but have learned more reading these threads than I have in 10 years :shake:

LMAO..Brens new name is "iownnfl"..lmao

SantaCapper, that is quite the compliment to each and every poster that graces this forum worldwide. Thanks, your a class act.

Santacapper--Kudos my Canuck friend. :shake:

BAR--"Paided"? Still stuck in that 7th grade reading level?

I have an english degree. Paided is the past perjorative palactic tense.

It's a direct translation from pidgen japanese/mongolian.

BAR is simply showing his grace worldlinessity.

Now it's better to have nothing than to have been "paided", I see. Keep trying. You might get it right.

This is such a stress relief after depos involving the "real world". I get to hear how my 15 year old client already has the foot of a 65 year old woman after having a retaining wall fall and crush her foot.

It's good to be silly.

BAR--I know it's an honest mistake and you didn't intend to misspell the word. However I get irate when reporters constantly use the word "pleaded" when the proper word is "pled" (e.g., "he pleaded guilty to murder"). I just shake my head in my car.

Now back to how this is the only worthless thread in the best CFB forum in the world...

I hear you. I get typing so fast sometimes that happens. Thank goodness for the edit button.

I have always wondered why I hear both pleaded and pled. Good to know. If imma ever in court again, I'll set the stenographer right :)

you hear pleaded now for the same reason you don't hear "holpen" anymore. You hear "helped".

Language moves toward standardization. The old conjugations get replaced with the standard crap. 'Run to ran' becomes 'run to runned'. It may take another 20 or 40 years, but it will happen. Just as sure as you've likely never heard "holpen" before. But it is indeed an english word.

what to do with "the runs" I don't quite know. Trey Parker might have to settle that one...

This thread has now become worthless because you guys are trying to see who read more pages of the dictionary last night.

LMAO! And, by the way, every way I type and spell in a thread is proper English in Oklahoma. So, leave my ass out of your English lectures!

Just don't be posting anything that has to do with good hygeine though, it will be wasted time on these Longhorn fans.

I don't know Vince Young. Does he read the dictionary?

Wait a sec, isn't Vince Young a Yag porn star? Years ago, wasn't he the red power ranger?

Yeah. See. This is the reason I can't get a real fucking job. I decided to get uselessly educated in college instead of learning to be of use to someone who would pay me.

Good thing I'm good at statistical math and I like sports...

alot of great topics sofar, this section will be crazy next thursday when college kicks off. heh i will be almost scared to post my plays since i wont have a half page writeup like alot of tha great cappers here.

had that in my profile for so long at covers, i jus now remembered to move that here.

I'm just curious how someone from East Tennessee knows how to properly speak English when most of them are missing their teeth.

Kind of like Razor in Arky, IQ can't be over 30 on half the population because of the inbreeding :)

I live here. I'm from Richmond, VA. Coincidentally, I lived in a small suburb of Little Rock called Maumelle for a few years...

And before you knock inbreeding, consider that at least it prevents us from creating a Matthew Lesko.

I wouldn't be knocking inbreeding if I had a sister - or if any of my female cousins weighed less than me. Just don't have those options.

This thread really has contributed NOTHING to college football, . . . . . but it's funny!

Nick - I think you're handling that on your own... lol - Plus we still got some big time posters like CollegeKingRex and JumpOnBoard that I know will focus some plays on the MAC.
