I'm having a hard time with waivers having 12 teams. You're kinda screwed if your original picks don't pan out or you have a high waiver wire.

I think cause it was Wednesday it was ok. I picked up Rudolph, then saw that Watson was available and took him. Was pretty surprised Watson was still around.

That's the only thing I can figure, Gabe. But once a player is on one team, then dropped, the waiver process should play out. People check the round of transactions first thing Wednesday morning, I'm guessing, then might not get back to them until the next morning. So Rudolph was gone at first glance. I wasn't looking to get Rudolph, just didn't realize this was possible. Maybe I need to be more familiar with the rules. If that's the way it is, more power to those who are on top of things.

Definitely see a pattern with points against.

Each of the fantasy leagues I'm in (baseball, football, hockey..one league for each sport) have adopted the "2 game system" per week to stop rewarding teams for getting lucky with the schedule (mainly by my prodding, lol). Each week you play someone head to head and get a win or loss as you always do. Then, the top half of the league points-wise gets a win, and the bottom half gets a loss. Obviously, you can go 2-0, 1-1, or 0-2 in any given week.

We've been talking about using the same type thinking in the playoffs, and eliminating the head to head aspect altogether for the playoffs. The 4 teams playing in the first round would just all be against each other, with the 2 highest scoring teams advancing, then the same thing in the semi finals. The object is to find the best team, not the luckiest team based on the schedule. I'm honestly surprised that more leagues haven't started doing it this way, especially in the playoffs.

think I got blown out once all year, every game was within 10 points and got very lucky with some teams having their bad week against me. Awesome league, can't believe we have had this thing going over 5 years now. Happy New Year everyone, look forward to next year already.
