Quick notes by region:

Ore St: 49-4 reg season record and #1 overall seed will not break a sweat in this region, 1.84 team ERA is #1 in country
Neb: #44 RPI

Clemson: started 25-5 but limping into tournament
Johnnies: only played 1 top 50 RPI team but 10-5 vs RPI top 100 and are top 10 in NCAA in both team ERA and team batting average
Vandy: Wright and Kendall could both be top 10 picks in draft

Fullerton: #43 RPI
BYU: 4-4 vs top 50 RPI, can't play Sun games

Texas: 11-12 record in conference and only team in field with losing record in conference but Big 12 #1 in RPI by conference
UCLA: worst RPI of all tournament teams #52

FSU: gets to host despite going .500 in conference, has work cut out for them here
Aub: #45 RPI

So Miss: gets tough region and even if they win, winner of this region rewarded with trip to LSU
So Miss: 11-6 vs RPI top 50 and 26-12 vs RPI top 100, one of best offenses in country with team batting average of .311
UIC: #2 in team ERA and have pitching depth with 9 pitchers throwing at least 20 innings and all with ERA under 4 and they won a road series at Vandy this season but #252 strength of schedule including 2-1 vs top 50 RPI and 8-7 vs top 100 RPI
S Bama: eliminated So Miss last season but 3-10 vs top 50 RPI and 8-16 vs top 100 RPI and likely to be without injured catcher, Barnes (.320 avg 13 HR's 50 RBI's)

LSU: probably best 1-2 punch w/ SP's Lange and Poche but also have the bats, hitting .294 as a team and have 5 players in lineup that are hitting over .300
Rice: hot team has won 18 of last 22
SELA: 8-6 vs top 50 RPI

Kentucky: struggled offensively in SEC Tournament but should breeze through this region...
Ohio: no games vs RPI top 50 but did go 5-2 vs RPI top 100
Indiana: argument could be made they don't belong in tournament let along a 2 seed, 8-7-1 vs RPI top 50 and 15-12-2 vs top 100 RPI
NC St: also questionable, 9-11 vs top 50 RPI and 12-16 vs RPI top 100

Bobcats!

Starting to see some probable pitching matchups

Fullerton: Seabold 10-4 2.94 ERA
BYU: Corless 6-1 4.91 ERA

Crazy to me that they completely changed the standard format to cater to BYU

They just will NOT play on Sunday

It's bullshit that the NCAA alters the schedule for that. In hoops, at least they can slot them into Thur/Sat, but this is complete garbage, to start the series a day early because of the religion and while it didn't play out, the day of rest could have made a huge difference. Just don't like anything about it.

why is UT +150? Does LBSU get to be the home team after they won last night despite coming from the loser's bracket? If so, that's BS
