Without doing much digging, Stanford pops out. I know Indiana lost a lot and I'm assuming the Card is going to start Quantrill.

Pretty even pitching matchup with McCanna vs French on Friday. Texas has a few starters in the field with lingering injuries. It's a mega series and it's at Rice. Not playing yet but Rice -110 seems reasonable for game 1 and I'd like to bet them when they throw Fox too. Duplantier out this weekend for Texas. I think Rice definitely takes 2 and could see them taking 3/4 in the series
Texas - French 2.40, Hollingsworth 1.15, Sawyer 5.60. Veterans on Friday and Saturday followed by young gun on Sunday. Above average but not great lineup returning.
Rice - McCanna 2.7, Fox 1.5, Duplantier 2.3, Hitman 1.8 will be elite staff. Bullpen will be above average but not elite. Bats will leave some to be desired esp after losing 4 of top 5 guys in lineup

Stanford. Quantrill (ace), Hochstatter, TBA. Lose 4 solid hitters from a great lineup but should be OK. Expect them to win a lot of Friday games and struggle some on the weekend.
Indiana - Efross (former BP guy), Morris 2.98, Kelzer. Lose 3 AA hitters, AA ace and their HC. Should still have a decent lineup. Solid setup guy and closer

ASU going with Lilek 2.70, Kellogg 3.75, likely Gillies 4.90. Lose top 2 hitters but return most everyone else from an average lineup. Pitching will be their strength. Will have one of the countries top bullpens.
OSU going Perrin, Buffett, Nurdin this weekend in all likelihood. Nurdin struggled pretty bad last year but the other two were both sub 2.50. Lose two solid relievers. Return 4 of top 6 hitters from the nations #13 offense.

ASU will break in their new stadium under new HC Tracy Smith who built that IU program up. Okla St will run out 4 solid but unproven RHHs (stud juco, stud freshman, promising soph and a Jr CF who gets his chance after being the late-inning PH/defensive replacement guy last season) vs ASU's ace lefty. Sounds like the Cowboys have a lot of upside but may take some time to reach it much like last season as they started slow out the gates but got rolling down the stretch. From what I remember of RHP Perrin last season: he wasn't overpowering but had good secondary stuff and located everything well.

With most starters being on pitch-counts early in the season, those key losses from the Okla St bullpen as Dwight mentioned could prove pivotal early on until they're able to settle into their roles if they didn't already in the fall. But I'd imagine some late-inning jobs are still up for grabs.

Made Indiana the fav today which was smart because Stanford is starting Hochstatter on Sunday instead of today. No play there

No opinion in Texas/Rice unless one of them ends up a dog of +110 or better. Think its basically a PK today and a 1-0, 2-1 game

Doubt I add the Sun Devils either as I agree with them being small-med type fav here mostly b/c of the home field. Agree with utfootball regarding the pitch counts esp early in the season

Both teams sucked this weekend. I played it smaller than normal but I just count everything as 1 unit for record keeping. I just figure with freshman either one of them can blow up. Stanford does have a slightly more fresh and less used bullpen. I would like to see an over posted here
