Cheese LOU-ese!!! I would usually chance Bronson Burgoon @ 80-1 because of his T-11th Northern [-10] T-2nd John Deere [-19] and T-6th National [-10] BUT after T-53rd Safeway [-3] T-58th Dell Tech [-2] CUT Wyndham CUT Canadian CUT British Open I got tired of "pissing away money" on the guy so did NOT bet him this week. naturally he is the one shot 1st round leader @ [-9] over Austin Cook yet another guy who has NOT done SHIT forever. probably neither going to actually WIN BUT would have been nice to have had some on Burgoon just in case

Billy Horschel, CT Pan and Scott Piercy (another guy who has been a "dog with fleas") all tied 3rd @ [-7] NICE to see my "pet Indian" Shubhankar Sharma FINALLY have a decent start to a tourney tied 13th @ [-5] along with another "to win" play Abraham Ancer

looks like my match plays in trouble already
Sam Ryder even [-2] over Anirban Lahiri [even] 2 up
Troy Merritt
even [even] over Si Woo Kim [-5] 5 down ( when I BET on "Woo Who?" he always SUCKS!!!)
Thomas Pieters even [-2] over Kiradeck Aphibarnrat [-3] 1 down

WICKED LOW rounds day two with Gary Woodland [-11] and Marc Leishman [-10] for tourney [-14] the 2nd round leaders while Shubhankar Sharma [-8] (REALLY ???) and Paul Casey [-7] tied 3rd [-13]. first round leader Bronson Burgoon [-3] along with solo 2nd Austin Cook [-4] and Scott Piercy [-5] two back [-12]. 12 more golfers within five shots of the lead and with the low rounds ANYTHING can happen

NOT going good in my tourney match plays. just about ALL the guys that shot LOW at Safeway last week NOT getting it done in Malaysia
Sam Ryder even [+1/-1] over Anirban Lahiri [+2/+2] 3 up
Troy Merritt even [+3/+3] over Si Woo Kim [-1/-6] 9 down
Thomas Pieters even [-3/-5] over Kiradeck Aphibarnrat [-3/-6] 1 down

kind of FUN having "late night golf" to watch on the Golf Channel after football and hockey :)

well here we GO into Sunday. Marc Leishman [-5], Gary Woodland [-5] and Shubhankar Sharma [-6] all TIED for the lead @ [-19] with Bronson Burgoon [-5] and Louis Oosthuizen [-7] two back @ [-17] 15 players within 6 shots of the lead so ANYONE'S tourney.

note on my "pet Indian" Sharma. solo 3rd round lead WGC-Mexico [-13] ended up tied 9th [-10]. tied 3rd round lead [-7] Indian Open ended up tied 7th [-4] BUT early season shot a 2nd round 61 Joberg Open for three shot WIN [-23] and a final round 62 Maybank for two shot WIN [-21]

pretty much in the crapper with my tourney match plays

Sam Ryder even [-1/-2] over Anirban Lahiri [-4/-2] EVEN
Troy Merritt even [-5/-2] over Si Woo Kim [-6/-12] 10 down
Thomas Pieters [-1/-6] over Kiradeck Aphibarnrat [-4/-10] 4 down

:golffrustrated:

well the Aussie Marc Leishman on "cruise control" with a final round [-7] for tourney [-26] and a five shot WIN over Bronson Burgoon [-4], Emiliano Grillo [-6] and Chesson Hadley [-6] for [-21] my "to win" play Abraham Ancer [-7] in a four way tie for 5th [-20].

I just KNEW my "pet Indian" Shubhankar Sharma would SCREW it UP yet AGAIN with an [even] for [-19] tied 10th. THIRD time this season he has BLOWN either an outright or tied for 3rd round LEAD. got to [-3] for [-22} thru #10 BUT then three straight bogies :hang:

ended up going 2-1 in my tourney match plays and feel LUCKY to get THAT!!!

Sam Ryder even [-7/-9] over Anirban Lahiri [-2/-4] WIN 5 up
Troy Merritt even [-5/-7] over Si Woo Kim [ -7/-19] LOSE 12 down
Thomas Pieters even [-6/-12] over Kiradeck Aphibarnrat [-1/-11] WIN 1 up

next week Nine Bridges @ Jeju Island, Korea. last years winner Justin Thomas [-9] over Marc Leishman in a playoff. Leishman's fellow Aussie Cameron Smith solo 3rd [-8] with the Korean Whee Kim solo 4th [-6]
