What’s your take on the almost-instant rematch in the ACCCG?

I don’t think they’ll ever do away with the conference championships because of the revenue but if they ever wanted to fix this broken system, start the playoffs now and get it over by New Years Day. Have the National signing day be January 2 and move on.
Nobody would object with getting the season started in mid August either while the NFL is wasting our time with preseason football. It’s a pretty easy fix.

Btw, put the National Championship game in the Rose Bowl on New Years Day in it’s normal time slot.
