CFL Syndicate 2025

Flying out later today and I got an email saying that theres been an aircraft change to the 737 max 8.

I flew with this same airline back in sept and they did exactly the same thing. The original aircraft was a reg 737 and then a few hours priot they changed it to a max-8.

I wonder if this is because people are still spooked by the max-8 and won't book if they see that model listed?
 
Final roster updates...

Sask has Ajou Ajou back and he will slot in at WR to replace Robustelli. Mitch Picton comes into the lineup for depth.

Montreal has some good news. Pierre-Olivier Lestage is back in at LG and he was easily their best lineman this season. They also have Mustafa Johnson penciled in as a starter although he is listed as a GTD. Bottom line is they could have their best O and D players back in the lineup. I like the sound of that. Alexander looks on pace and all reports have him moving well and stepping into throws at practice. Austin Mack also dealing with a hammy but I don't see that being a big deal. Montreal has no shortage of capable receivers.

Weather looks near perfect. Temp around freezing at kickoff, dropping to about -3 by the end. Very little wind.

Alexander admits his hamstring isn’t 100% but says nothing will keep him out. I can’t stand this kid but I believe in him. Hard to argue against a 13-0 record. No one has ever done that before.

In other news, USaskatchewan and UMintreal advanced to the Vanier cup next week. I’m not sure if that’s ever happened before.
 
Yeah Montreal has more to show us yet.

I didn’t realize Letcher was out for Montreal. Their using Theis for returns which means his prop is likely dead.
 
Under 51.5 if Sask doesn’t start going now it’s an under and protect-hedge my Montreal bets

I hated to see you off to a slow start, so I want to make a comment. This might come off the wrong way so let me say that my head is in the right place and my wish is for you to not dig an early season hole. You’re just to good at CFL, especially when you get these teams figured out. I think it was last season or the year before you started slow as well? I don’t think it’s you but this league it more difficult the way I see it.

Do your own self justice and adjust smaller units accordingly early in the season. Maybe a benefit to you to back track your season results. Provide yourself some room for growth.

Maybe since the rule changes are ahead you’re going to do this automatically but I gave you comment because you’re just too smart and talented (with a ton of effort too) to battle out of a hole. I think the longer the season rolls on, that’s your bread and butter. Even if you have early success it’s ok because there’s so much winning ahead.

You are so dialed in to CFL that I am commenting to make you even better. I am only making an observation from a very small and isolated observation. I could be way off but as I said my mission is to make you even better.

Only you know from your history what works best. I know I have had my struggles in the league lately so maybe my credibility isn’t strong enough at this point. You were shocked at my good results this season. Yup I know I gave not been good. I don’t have the mind to watch and break it down as well as others. Being in the USA is more of a challenge to watch the games. Even so I don’t dial in, watching is more about entertainment or frustration lol.

I probably am and could be way off but it doesn’t hurt to take note of what I see and at least consider looking back and making adjustments to your game. The mission is to keep improving our bottom line.

2025 Was my best season in a long time, and you were a big help to my overall. That’s why the note here. It’s appreciation

I appreciate the comments man. You are right, I got ahead of myself the past couple of seasons and a change of strategy is called for. I used to be able to get ahead of the books by studying everything through training camp and preseason but since the legalization of betting here, the lines have become much sharper so there is just not the same early season value.

Having said that, I am not sure I'll be continuing. The new rules in 2026 & 2027 will change the game so much and I don't know that I have the will to try and learn all that has changed. Maybe I'll feel differently come next May but as of now, I think I'm calling it quits on the CFL.

I've been doing this thread since 2017 and its been a lot of fun. Thanks to you and everyone who contributed.

Let the dust settle this winter and let's all work together.
 
I honestly forgot some changes were coming.

I look at that as an opportunity to find an edge.

Take some time, thing about it and let's see what ya think in a few months.

If I need to dig deeper and help more I'm all for it.
 
Hulu remember I was losing in the early seasons and then I quit when American ball started. This season I was back to my old ways. I was fortunate.

Just because there are only 9 teams doesn’t make it easy.
Anyways I don’t need to say anything further when we like the same teams we are deadly.

Give these new modifications time. You might not like the entertainment as much but it can be even more fruitful for you.

I am not Canadian so I don’t have the homemade love for this league. Might be best for me to take time off. As you what I think about your and your methods? You know these players and the bottom line that’s a ton ahead of me. I know the league and lines but even with that I have been exposed in the past.

The quarterbacks in the past were more even and after elevation they regressed. This season was a bit similar to that one Edmonton started the best guy. I think the parody is there and if that continues I’ll be okay.

Just wanted to say take it easy. Thanks for everything and a great thread.
