Waited too long on Rice and A&M and missed good numbers. Will see if A&M comes back to -24. Still plan to play Cincy, Bama/FSU under and Cal/Oregon State under, hoping for better numbers.

Had my eye on Rice a few weeks ago when it was 14 but talked myself out of it and now like had gotten away from me, but nice to see I wasn’t the only one who had them on the short list. Best of luck this week man.

I think Rice's new offense will be a major adjustment for opponents and I think that really shows up early. Think they could be a real surprise team (I'm also higher on Michigan St, Cincy and MTSU than most). BOL to you too, CB!

Few Purdue thoughts if time permits.
Absolutely. This is way more situational than strategic, at least on Boilers side. Purdue has Ball St this weekend and Southern Illinois next weekend. After that, it's USC, at ND, a bye then full-on B1G play. The rest of their home schedule is Illinois, Rutgers, OSU, Indiana. It's not a stretch to say that Saturday vs Ball State is Barry Odom's best chance to earn some patience from the fanbase. One of my favorite things about college football is the importance of coaches and how they approach situations. At UNLV, Odom beat up on Bryant and Utah Tech as huge faves in his 2 seasons there (44-14 and 72-14). In similar spots at Mizzou, Odom laid the wood to EMU (61-21), Missouri St (72-43), UT Martin (51-14) and SEMO (50-0). On the other side, Ball State is so down. The D is really bad and will put up little resistance. Odom names his number and it's somewhere in the 40s minimum, I think. It has to be because there are going to be some long cloudy weeks in West Lafayette this fall.

Great start so far, just saw these now. I got in live on a first half, hopefully that cashes.
Still can't believe they didn't get to at least 40. Up 31-14 late in the 1H, OU hadn't stopped Rutgers on a single drive then outscored 17-3 from there (vs OU D that lost a ton). Rutgers D was the real problem, allowing OU to hold the ball way more than they should've been able to. D looked very undisciplined for a Schiano team - might they be '24 Iowa, an over machine? Something to watch. I bet they get the D cleaned up quick because I don't think personnel was the problem.

1* UNLV/SHSU over 61

Im torn between this or just laying the wood with Rebs? I mostly hate this kinda road chalk and don’t love Sam Houston st got a game in last week. Understand over for sure, I’m pretty confident in Rebs new coaching staff and offensive system, just not real sure wtf Sam Houston st brings? I suppose I could look Rebs tt over as well.

Yeah, I think Rebs TT over is the way to go if you are concerned about SHSU holding up their end of the scoring. I do think UNLV will keep scoring, in part because they have to and in part because that is Mullen's style

Nice work on that TT under last night.

I thought Sparty would score a bit more.

Your write-up on Purdue (and conversely Rutgers as well) was damn good capping. I know we haven't hit the TT yet in Purdue game but off to an incredible start. I ended up taking the 1h tt there and nice to start a Saturday with that.

Definitely put that in the notebook for future use.

Many thanks, BAR, that means a lot coming from you. Been thinking about it and maybe the takehome message in these spots is to take the 1H spread and TT over (both of which hit in Rutgers and Purdue, and Sparty for that matter). The full game side and TT depend too much upon what you get from the MAC dog.

For sure.

Honestly I've done more 1st half and live last few years in big spread games due to that.

Plus, if they have a bad 1h, you can repeat the bet 2x at half or live market.

Definitely been bet down due to the weather situation. Think I still like your bets but going to likely do this thing live. Supposed to stop by kickoff then another line in later...possibly? Ugh I suck trying to guess weather is S Florida. In general it seems like an under game w/o weather and if the downpours come the potential of stoppage, delays, moving clock. Man I hope it just hits for your sake.

Thanks, KJ. I was thinking about playing the 2H over to go for the middle until the late Miami TD. BOL if you ended up playing it.
