Utah vs USC is a classic Vegas "money grab" scenario. The bets and money have been pouring in on USC since this game opened, but the line has remained the same. This could have easily moved to a key number of +3 to ignite action on Utah (and reduce the houses liability on the game) but they didnt. The lack of any related line movement all week says the sportsbooks are still begging for USC bets.

We have a clear case of a sportsbook mop up tactic going on here. For me the handicap is simple, Vegas is clearly siding with Utah +2.5. Listen to the smartest people in the room when they are trying to tell you something.
