Until the Will Hammond ACL injury in week 9, Tech was not planning to be in the QB transfer market. Looks like Kirk Francis (Tulsa transfer) or Chubb Jones time until Hammond recovers. According to the reports Sorsby made wagers his RS freshman season at Indiana. Are we supposed to be led to believe that he stopped or that he needs to check in to a rehab for something that happened 3-4 years and 2 schools ago? Doesn’t look good for him. I’m curious as to what Tech would be on the hook for financially with him if he doesn’t play a down.

I would sure hope that they have a stipulation for something where he can't/won't play sans injury.

I imagine at least half of his NIL wasn't actually locked in, but was kind of an IOU, so I'm sure they won't have to pay that if he's ruled ineligible
