if anyone wants to shine a light on the japanese, russian, or brittish fights happening this week, i'm all ears. not seeing any props for thurman or matthyse, wish i was.

i'm leaning cotto

i like JMM and Froch. also thinking about jumpin on khan-260 right now, as i think that line is gonna jump up closer to fight time. would like to hear ya'lls opinions on that.

First thing that I see is Guillermo Jones (he's at +210 now). He TKO'd Lebedev in the 11th round of the first fight, in a fight that should have never seen the 11th. To say that Lebedev's eye was fucked, would be an understatement. If Lebedev can keep Jones off of him, he can win a decision. I'm not sure he can KO Jones. He hit him with everything but the ring post in the first fight, and never had him hurt. Jones has a pretty significant size and reach advantage. He'll need to score a KO to win, because I don't see him winning a decision against Lebedev in Russia. At +210, I 100% thinks it's worth a shot on Jones to KO Lebedev for a second time.

I think that if Sergio Martinez shows up at 70% or better, he's going to beat the hell out of Cotto. I've always thought that this was a bad style match up for Cotto. Sergio is also going to have a significant size advantage. I hate this fight for Cotto. I'll be on Sergio, almost certainly.

With ya on JMM. A little gunshy on Froch, due to how significantly he was being out boxed in the first fight. I'll need to rewatch that fight a few more times.

That Khan/Collazo line has plummeted since opening. I grabbed Collazo +380 the day the line came out. Dude's a fighter in every sense of the word. He's also pretty difficult to look good against. I tried telling people he wasn't shot before he bitch slapped Ortiz. This dude has fight left in him. I think he might just be too tough, and too resilient for Khan.

Yeah I am wayyyy jealous of Jab's Collazo line....Ill be on it when I get it. Amir Khan has ALL the tools....EXCEPT the chin. Put it this way Elbutre...the line is backwards. Khan would be worth a stab if he was PLUS 260...but he ain't. And it aint like you gotta worry about the judges....Khan can break easy. I like Khan, and he always brings it,,,,problem is, he just has not shown me he can take a punch.

If I bet the Jones/Lebedev fight, it would be for peanuts....who know what happens in Russia...not worth a real money bet for me, but I go back and forth on that one.

JMM seems like free money, and I'll be on it very likely. Especially if I get that line. Boxing lesson will take place.

In Wembley, I didnt get to see the first fight but heard St George should have easily won. I will watch, but lean the Sheriff of Nottingham if he is more prepared on the 2nd go...again I need to see the 1st.

Jab and I disagree!!!! Newflash!!! LOL. Sergio is at the end of his rope...plus money with Cotto is a gift in my estimation. The size doesnt bother me as I think Cotto can just take the shots better at this point. Sergio a few years back? Sure....

These days, I don't think. I will of course want to see weights and pics...

Good shit guys:shake:

The scary part for me, is how Sergio is going to come back from the injury. If Sergio's healthy, I just don't see Cotto having much success.

i don't think collazo can man-handle khan like he did victor. khan's way quicker, with way better footwork. he'll be sticking and moving if he's not a moron. i don't see collazo being able to push him around and shit. but if ya'll don't think the line is gonna jump up, then there's not any value in it for me. i was just trying to get in front of one for once. ha.

I don't think Khans footwork is anything special. He's got great hand speed, and a bit too much pride for his own good. He doesn't wanna let himself get dragged into a dogfight with Collazo.

i shoulda said that better, his footwork is better than ortiz's. i don't see collazo doin the same thing to khan that he did to victor.

how so? Cotto has fought at 154, albeit not great....If Sergio is just gonna have his arms down and pick and pop? Maybe.....

I guess I look at JCC Jr and his fight with Sergio and think.....Cotto is way smaller, yet more skilled. And Sergio is wearing down....

My play would be on Sergio is about done..

Khan's problem is he can't NOT get into a fight.....it is fun to watch, but it is his downfall.

And Khan's beard is NOT to be trusted. Period.

But this fight isn't at 154, it's at 160 (I think it's actually at a catch weight of 159, but close enough).

The thing about that JCC Jr fight is that Sergio beat his ass for the entire fight until he got dropped in the last round. And, imo, not only is Cotto not as durable as JCC Jr., he also doesn't have the stamina of JCC Jr. Unless Sergio is shot to shit, I really, really think he's gonna bust Cotto up.

you ain't lying. i don't know how he keeps walking into wars when his chin is made of glass. just bad execution, because there's no way his gameplan pre-fight is to get into a brawl.

but that's the rub on sergio; he beat the hell outta JCC until that last round. there was zero reason to mix it up in the 12th, but sergio just kept coming, and left himself open. If sergio tries to pull that against a better boxer, albeit a smaller boxer, i think he's in trouble. especially after such a long layoff.

I think Sergio is toast

basically the bet is if you think he still has it

I say no, and I get + money.....that's it for me

The scary part for me, is how Sergio is going to come back from the injury. If Sergio's healthy, I just don't see Cotto having much success.

It is all coming down to his lateral movement. If his knee is even 70% healed like you said he should dominate Cotto, if not Miguel will have a very good shot, but I think the weight could be a big factor for him as well.

no need to apologize bro

all good haha

I'm having a tough time getting past the size. Cotto is small at 154. Sergio will dwarf him at 160.

I don't blame anyone at all for making a play on Cotto at some good odds. There's some unknowns with Sergio. If Sergio is shot, or not fully recovered, Cotto has a great chance. If Sergio is in good health, Cotto's fucked. I'm gonna wait and see what Sergio by decision is, and that will likely be my play.

Cotto gets money for any fight....Sergio needed Cotto, not the other way around for the big payday...I can't see his team throwing him in there to get killed, if they see the same thing I am(a broken Sergio)

Either way, both guys bring it so I expect a great fight

I just cannot pass up the plus odds

Let me clarify too....this aint the bet of the century or anything either LOL

As I type this, I realize thank the Lord for DVR

FNF is TNF tonight....Josesito fighting too

good shit...he is a fighter

Hey good stuff men

Im convinced Groves will beat Froch, will add more about it when I got time.
I was very impressed the way he spoke in this video ,I hope it plays

Also Im shocked by the Fury price,I had the opinion Delboy was just a rubbing rag...think its a mismatch.... thought Fury would be nearly unbackable,Im missing something ob....
