This is the 3rd straight year bowling for the Bobcats...

2023 and 2024 were both First Responder Bowls...

They smacked Rice around 45-21 two years ago.

Last year they beat North Tejas 30-28.

This year, the Military Bowl comes calling vs a 5-7 Rice team.

The Rice defense isn't good. They give up 400 per game, of which 243 is through the air.

Rice last 4 losses they yielded...

Rice will have a new QB today as the usual starter hit the portal.

As of Wednesday, ZERO opt outs for Texas State.

The Bobcats finished at 6-6 and that is merely due to some brutally tough endings. This is more like an 8-4 team. This is their last game before heading to the P12 and I think they shall shine today.
