So...... I'm not sure if anyone told you this before, but just because a favorite wins doesn't mean "smart money loses". Often times the "smart money" you consistently reference is indeed on the favorite. Example: Atlanta, the smart money was on Atlanta so they are not 0-6 as you reference.

The favs are 6-0 in playoffs with many of the 6 going OVER posted total.... Be assured the public is killing the Books so far in post season!!

This is so far from accurate. 57% of the money is on GB +5 and 79% of ML is on GB...... So Dallas winning, is a HUGE WIN FOR VEGAS. I'm sure this is a shocker, but the public is not "always" on the fav.

True about the public not always being on the favorite, but Dallas winning wouldn't have necessarily been a HUGE WIN FOR VEGAS based on percentages of bets, obviously. If the 43% that was on GB ended up being more money bet than the 57%, it wouldn't have been a win for Vegas at all.

The percentages provided are not based on the percent of people on that side, it is based on the money on that side. So Vegas did indeed get destroyed by GB winning especially with 77% of the ML paying out +200. The point I was taking issue with, is this notion that the public is always on the favorite, and if the favorite wins Vegas gets crushed. If you're serious about gambling you know that simply isn't true. Same with overs, yes of course the public leans over and favorites.....However plenty of times Vegas needs a Fav or an over to win.
