Black Monday- Mike McDaniel, You’re Next!

You think Flores is a retread? Wow I strongly disagree there, getting out of Miami was a blessing for his career.
Yes I do but realize I'm in the minority. We'll see. Don't see how he doesn't get 1 of the 7. So he's going to get another shot. I've heard him mentioned here in LV. If true hope he says no. LV a disaster roster

I think Brady either goes with the old New England connections with Flores and Daboll as OC or Cignetti to go along with Mendoza.

I think NYG and Atlanta (I'm in the minority I guess on Penix) are the only open jobs with optimal QB situations right now. Whether it's Mendoza or Moore the next QB isn't fixing that OL in Vegas so they'll be seeing a lot of the roof at Allegiant.

Yup. Agree. Long term rebuild. Who knows if Brady worth a dam as talent evaluator. Michael Jordan was horrible owner

I still see Auburn Bo Nix and have no clue how that team got the 1 seed. Random year where luckbox team did it all season and just to be in those positions is on coaching. I think Bo is a lower tier QB.
Also wasn't it only 3 seasons ago that Miami put 70 on Denver? Payton done amazing job there.

Another fun stat bout Shanny,, you ever seen his record when trailing by 7+ at half? It ain’t good, like it probably all time worst.

My advice for teams looking for a coach; don't hire someone who couldn't score a 700 on the SAT because if you can't meet that lowly standard you are too dumb to have a job like this.

I read this and laughed because I had no clue that 700 was shit

We only took ACT in Iowa where 28 was necessary to get into a decent school, 32 was required for a decent scholarship. 36 would have been basically perfect. I don't know what's good or bad with SAT scores but at least you've outlined a basement I guess.

700 used to be the score necessary to be eligible to play in college. Just to refresh your memory the highest you can score on the SAT is 1600, 800 in math and 800 in reading and to let you know just how low of a score 700 is you start with 400 before even taking the exam.

I scored 31 the first time I took the ACT and actually retook it and got 32. Scholarship reasons obviously which only lasted one year because my academic counselor thought 5 hours of calculus at 8am and 5 hours of chemistry at 2pm were ideal for my first semester away from home. Fucking crooks.

Yea I wouldn’t call Flores a retread at all, really neither. Both were just victims of crap franchises. From what I understand Flores begged those clowns to draft Herbert not Tua. Then they fire him cause they drafted a soft injury prone scrub? Had they listened to him they prob be one the better teams in the league. His defensive chops can’t be argued and he actually had Miami playing hard.

Yeah it was a weird firing. Assume it was difference in vision between him and Ross which I'm 100% behind Flores vision in that case.

He'll have his pick of jobs I think. Him, Harbaugh then the rest. Stefanski with a good QB would likely be good.

NFL rumors aren't anything like soccer but I did love the idea of Burrow to the Cards for a bunch of picks that was out there a month ago or so. Of course it was a fantasy rumor and for some reason he loves Taylor in Cinci which is why that clown hasn't been fired but also why Burrow leaving is a pipe dream. We have no path to success as far as QB goes and an offense that simply needs a guy. Brissett is an incredible backup to boot if needed for a couple games, not a full season.

I think they basically choose Tua over him, if I recall correctly Tua was all butt hurt when it came out bout Flores wanting Herbert and then while Tua was there he was kinda openly campaigning they should make a move for other qb’s. Think he let it be known Tua was way too small (and kinda a bitch) for his liking. Obviously he was right bout Tua.

Didn’t know burrow loved Taylor I just assumed he won’t be fired cause bungals are cheap as fuck.

When the Jets were looking for a coach last offseason I only had interest in offensive coaches with the one exception being Flores and am still pissed off that they passed up hiring him.

Seriously what organization says we're just a Tua away from contending? Just wanted to say that before the Cards go pick him up and overpay.

We have the talent but need a QB

He's not leaving Taylor unfortunately

I thought it was more cause cincy did whatever he wanted and paid his wrs, be kinda messed up for him to force his way out and leave them there. Guess it makes sense he likes Taylor, probably the only way cincy even think bout paying off someone contract and another coach be if burrow demanded it.

Don't feel so bad there are lots of rumors about Kyler to the Jets so we are all screwed.
I don't care where Kyler goes to

This season was why I didn't think Gannon would get canned. Kyler was benched for over half the season, he's gone. Organization pretty much has been dangling the meat for three months. This team is built to succeed now but that one pesky element, the QB, is missing and I don't know where we turn for it at this point.

I think Burrow would welcome a change but he's not going to leave Cincy to go the Cardinals or Jets.

I don’t think that accurate. Everyone wanted to turn that press conf where he was obviously frustrated into him getting out of cincy but that be leaving his WRs he just got paid stranded, he an Ohio boy and wanted to be there. Apparently he likes that clown coach. As garbage the franchise is they seemingly bend to his will. He not trying to go anywhere.

I fear having to pay for Kirk Cousins but am afraid that's how this ends

Hope I'm wrong on so many levels. Don't want him, Mac, hell virtually any backup but we aren't improving the position with the draft. Maybe a CFL guy...more interesting than the other options.

cousins-Brissett-mac jones, what’s the difference? They all end the same, still needing a qb.

These teams aren't sure who their opening day starter is next year? Let me know if I'm missing any.

Arizona
Atlanta (Cousins?)
Colts (Leonard?)
KC
Raiders ( #1 pick)
Miami
Jets
Pitts?

I'm throwing Minnesota in there for sure
Tits likely stick with Cam another year but not sure
Lions and Goff? Huge question mark.
Browns a cluster fuck
Stafford?

Kinda think Rodgers gonna play another year.

Vikings def need someone unless they wanna stay in basement, jj ain’t it.

I guess shadeur gonna be the guy in cle? Prob why they fired stefanski they told him that and he laughed.

Same. I think the way the latter half of the year went he's going to want one more. Howard is nowhere close either. They'd have to go FA and who out there is any better than Rodgers in FA?

I've seen a couple mock drafts that have them taking Simpson which would be both appropriate and hilarious.

28 was a moderate pat on the back. Not like Central MO was known for academics at the time, I just needed a place to do pre-med for a couple years. Chemistry there kicked my ass freshman year and after CIS/philosophy/psych majors I landed on travel/tourism. NOLA was one of my favorite road trips for that degree. It was really a business degree based on travel and made things fun.

Scholly paid all out of state tuition plus $600/semester. That was significant. Required a 3.25 after year one and I landed on 3.21 after a first semester than included terrible guidance. Also, terrible chem instructor. Got 47% on my final and on curve that was a C. Fucking guy had no business teaching anything.
