LSU +1.5 (dime)

I know all the reasons not to pick LSU, they are pretty obvious. As I was going through their schedule I realized that they lost 5 games this year to the following teams...Oklahoma (4pts)...Bama (11pts)...Vandy (7pts)...Ole Miss (5pts)...Texas A+M (24pts, but they were ahead at halftime 18-14). My numbers have this one with LSU at -15. That's the largest differential I have come across in any bowl games this year using my numbers. Houston only played one team all year that is the same caliber as any of these 5 teams that LSU lost games...Texas Tech and they got the shit beat out of them (35-11) in a game that was mostly over at the end of the 1Q...they also lost by 10 to west Virginia and a 3 point loss to TCU...They haven't beaten or even played well against anyone as talented as LSU...I know a lot of folks are big on Houston tonight but this one is a no brainer for me...the talent difference on the LSU side of the ball is exponential. LSU should be motivated in this one. At least the kids playing and returning to next years roster all understand this is their tryout with the new ball coach watching. This is their best chance to impress him on any kind of stage outside of practice and make a solid first impression. Keep an eye out for #97 tonight, one of my former players.
