Beisbol Playoffs

6 weeks til real basketball season

ISU play in Tempe and Tucson in late January, loving this new conference! Haven't been to a game in Tempe since 2001 when I had to give away a prize on the court at HT of some random ASU game. Such a lame atmosphere but I think the students have made it more fun now. Gotta find a date for Tucson that doesn't cost $300/hr

I’ll be in Lawrence for the KU/North Carolina meeting Friday November 8th at historic Allen Fieldhouse.

I worked at Station that became Ameristar

Also at Harrah's but doubt they changed hands. Is Bally's the old Flamingo? Man I need to get back there

Ameristar or Argosy are definitely the nicest in KC.

Bally’s is closest to our hotel.

It’s all 15 mins from arrowhead basically.

When I was there Flamingo was the closest to downtown but that was '96-'98ish (earlier when you played the role of Mark F****n!) I'm gonna have to look that up now. Harrah's was always the class but when I was there we closed at 4am and opened at 6am, still had to hand in a card to get marked off your buy in. After $500 you were cut off til the next second hour. Was bizarre....Harrah's has two boats, one would be on even hours and one was odd. If you crapped out on your $500 on one boat you'd just go to the other one rather than wait for the reset.

I quit at Harrah's a couple weeks before I moved here. Went back the Saturday between and my ex-boss kicked me off the boat, was up over $3k at BJ which I don't even enjoy but man I was so smashed. Told her what a shitty manager she was lol....on the casino floor.
