AFC Wild Card Discussion

I likely understand terrible posts because I do them a lot.
KJ, look at Lamar’s career stats for passing yardage. He only has 3 seasons passing over 3000 yards. You’re saying he’s 1 of the best NFL history. That might fit into your category of terrible posts.

I don't do stats. Ever.

I kinda know what I see.

Ravens TT at 28.5 now. Love this under. Just look at the history between these two teams. Sure, ravens scored 34 last time vs Pitt, but it took a fourth quarter pick-6 and Zay had a big game. Now no Zay and playoff Lamar in effect…. i’d be shocked if they scored more than 28 points here.
Fair enough

Stat freak is really not going to be successful in this little game. If that's what you need to feel good about yourself, the f'n shrink in me pats you on the back.

A lot of people I respect on Pitt. I feel like this might be over by halftime. I know they’re rivals. Baltimore is significantly better.
Don’t disagree on Balt being better but hasn’t mattered much in this series as underdog has covered 8 of L10.

I have a ton of thoughts in my thread about the Bills game but I just want to throw this in here.....

I have seen a bunch Denver+pts posts and while I can understand some of the reasoning one I see often is that Denver won last year week 10 @Buffalo.

-totally different team

-two most targeted players aren't even on the Bills anymore

-Allen threw 2 picks/ Bills lost two fumbles last year (not happening)

-it was the last game Dorsey coached before getting fired, Bills went on a 6-1 run to close the season out with Brady as OC.

If buf had last year's roster you could make the case Surtain locks down Diggs and the offense struggles. Not the case this season.

Same. And now it’s down to 7.5. Hoping to add Denver + DD live at some point to hedge.

Just one big, 40-1 parlay open with Bills ML for me. Thought about hedging last night at Denver +400, down to +340 now. Hoping for a fast start from Buffalo and will still hedge, hoping to get +500 or more, live. GL today, Leggo Buffalo

I’m sure there are many of us. I give a a big HC advantage to Sean Payton. Rookie QB OTR in a tough place….ML gotta be good here right lol?!

Denver defensive numbers are good but skewed by a few games (e.g., shutout of KC backups in week 18). Can’t get that Cleveland game out of my mind where Jeudy and Jameis torched them. Tough rush D but Buffalo a unique animal with trio of Cook, Allen and Davis. Think JA can throw all over them today. Denver below .500 OTR and Bills a beast at home. Denver might keep it close for a while but see Bills pulling away 31-20 my prediction.

All things considered like 90% good. But I’ve been burned one too many times to call anything a l**k

The line drop is messin with my head - have tons on with Bills 10 pt teasers - any injury on Bills?

I don’t see Denver winning here - I had Bills winning this by DD today

I can't pass up Buffalo -5.5 -150. 6 is a huge # and I can buy points for somewhat of a discount through local.

With all that said - I don't think Buffalo is elite. A slightly less than average defense and a still mostly unproven WR core / passing game. It's still all on Allen. Cooks is a semi stud but Broncos rush defense is elite.

This is also a massive coaching edge for Denver...
Not as massive as people are making it out to be. That’s coming from a bills fan who has called for mcd to be fired a couple times.

Bills 2nd during the season has been largely great and I don’t think bad coaches make such good adjustments.

I think we see the bills d look much much better than they have lately

It's a massive edge between HC. Perhaps not overall staffs. Brady is a top level OC and a perfect fit with the Bills.

Driving in this AM heard a crazy stat about wildcard favorites laying 8 (maybe it was 9) or more and their pretty incredible ATS record. Didn't catch the exact # but obviously applies a couple times this weekend.

I want to unearth this # as it has seemed lopsided over the years. Even more lopsided now with the two weekend results of Baltimore and Bufalo.
