SDQL Badass Stat Boss
Opening card of the year as well as the Paramount era, no more PPV's so we'll see how that goes. Only 11 fights tonight after Smotherman passed out after weighing in, forcing a cancellation of his bout. Still it's likely the cards will be smaller moving forward, likely 8-10 fights will be the norm soon enough, but they will probably ease into it. A decent card that could have been exceptional if we would have got the Harrison/Nunez battle.

Early prelims:
UFC 324:Gaethje/Pimblett
T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas
Early prelims:
- In the opener Ty Miller comes in undefeated at 6-0 with 1 NC. He's a highly prospect with a great mixture of speed, power and technique that should allow him to cruise versus the more experieinced Fugitt (10-5). Fugitt has shown defensivive liabilities in past fights. Miller will likely elect to keep the fight standing and potshot Adam when he tries to close distance. There is a huge athletic difference here, but Miller's inexperience may lead to an over, since the odds are too prohibitive for a simple side play.
- Two heavies battle next with ex-NFLer Josh Hokit (7-0) battling Denzel Freeman (7-1). Both fighter won their UFC debuts last NOV, but "The Incredible Hok" has finished at 7 of his fights, 5 in R1 and 3 by sub. Hokit typically starts fast, forcing action right away while looking to chain wrestling to a takedown and deliver some good ole G-n-P while riding opponent and making them work. Freeman has shown more patience so far in his career although he does have 5 finishes. Freeman has size, a proven 15 minute gas tank and the awkwardness of a southpaw making him a live dog possibility, however I think Josh is smart enough not to gas early and do enough for a decision if he cant find the finish. Should be a fun fight.
