Here we go.

I am going to start tracking the 3min warning live over system for every game this year to see how it goes.
 
Ottawa starting 2 rookies at CB. Thats a scary proposition although if you have to slot in a rookie anywhere on a CFL secondary, corner is probably the best place. Its the most similar to the 4 down game of all the defensive backfield positions.
 
I’m getting more coffee didn’t sleep well so bed early tonight. I’ll try to stay up because I want to watch but I’ll be a mess. 2 concussions and no sleep I know how I think. Hard enough with sleep :p

At best I get to watch 1st half.

I am in a different time zone (central) right now than usual and its throwing me off.
 
Gotta say its pretty ballsy of the NBA to put their finals game 1 up against OTT vs SASK. I guess David Silver doesn't care about ratings.
 
I’d watch any preseason sport I like over any NBA game. I know I know I’m different

I just don’t feel the intensity of some sports. Also the fact I’m short and can’t shoot. I’m sure you knew that though. Pretty obvious

I like basketball but the NBA has gotten so bad over the past 10 years.

First off, there are way too many regular season games. If you reduced it by 20 or so, the quality of play would greatly improve. Second, the league has neutered defences to the point where games are so high scoring that they are rarely close anymore. When they are close, the final second are marred by each team calling 1400 timeouts so there is no flow or excitement from a fan perspective.

What's crazy is I kinda share your argument but for a ton of reasons enjoy it more than I have since the 90s

Yeah I'm probably in the minority on this one. Most fans enjoy scoring and offence and that's why ther NBA has made the game the way it is. Its only old fuddy-duddies like me that still want to see defence and rock fights.
 
Just caught the news that NFL legend Jim Marshall died.

He started his career in Sask and is notable as being one of the few players involved in CFL-NFL trades. They are very rare but they have happened.
 
Holy shit, Milt Stegall's son died? I hadn't heard that. Man that must be hard to deal with. Really sad.
 
70.7% career completion rate for Trevor Harris. I know it has a lot to do with the short passing style he's always played but damn that is an insane number.
 
Hate to say it but that was an impressive drive against what is supposed to be a top 3 defence.

Maybe I was wrong about Ottawa
 
Wow, who knew that new penalty rule would help me in the first game.
 
Riders defence has looked much tighter since that opening drive they gave up.
 
+6.5 or + 7.5 available and Sask have injuries so we’ll see about that. After this drive I might dabble in a better line. That’s why I was hesitant at 3.5
 
I’m going to wait until later in the game adding more bets. So much time left and all these 3 minute circus’. I see things I want but my experiences the last few years says no
