Will be looking to add S Alabama and Illini TT overs when TTs become more widely available at my outs later tonight/tomorrow morning and I maybe get better numbers. Other than that, counting the minutes til noon Saturday. BOL to everyone this weekend.

Agree Miami Oh undah, OSU over, and Texas 1h. Not really against you anywhere except Happy Valley. Good luck brother.

Thanks Marsalis. Yeah, I know I’m playing with fire in HV, hopefully 1H turns out to be the right angle. Good luck to you too.

In the words of Roscoe P. Coltrane, what a horrendous crash. I was riding high at 3:30 pm before reality hit. Oh well. A few thoughts/lessons, because if I don't learn from Saturday is was relatively wasted time:
- Pretty pleased with the 8 wins, in that there wasn't much luck in them other than the Miami under hanging on in OT (but given that I subjected myself to watching the game, it never should've gone to OT, so feels like a proper result all told).
- The UNC/Duke over, Texas 1H, UCF TT and USA/LSU plays were all bad plays. As the old adage goes, it takes two to make an over. And while the Texas 1H wasn't an over, it required the underdog not to lay down and die and take the air out of the ball from the outset.
- After the 70-50 loss to JMU, UNC came out with a gameplan to keep the game low-scoring. The over never had a chance.
- Mississippi State and South Alabama both came out playing thank-you-for-the-check-we-just-want-to-get-out-of-town-without-being-decimated-by-injuries ball. - For USA, it's understable - it's OOC at a SEC team, and they are getting a check and have real conference title aspirations. Still, watching USA continue to try to establish the run in the 2H was hard on the eyes.
- For Cowbell, oof, I thought Lebby was Mr. "We'll live and die at our tempo" (hey, that mentality lasted all of a month until they lost at home to UF and had to go on the road with a freshman QB the following week).

- As for the UCF TT, that was the most surprising result of the day. That's the most physical and intense I've seen Colorado look under Deion (I mean, other than during warm-ups and the coin flip). UCF was off a bye and Colorado was off the hail mary win vs Baylor - no excuse for UCF to be that flat. I believed in Gus Malzahn and I paid for it. Shame on me, I know better. And, I have to admit, I'm way too eager for a Colorado fade and probably don't rate them properly.
- The OSU/MSU over and OSU TT over losses were a bit unfortunate. Yes, it takes two to make an over, but Sparty got SOD at the OSU 20, had a fumble on the OSU 11 on a nice play by TE Veiling, another fumble at the OSU 16 - all in the 1H when they'd likely have taken points in any situation. They get even 2 FGs on those 3 possessions and game goes over. And if Sparty has 10+, I'd imagine CRD would've hung another TD and I've have cashed my Bucks TT, but at 38-7 in the 2H he took his foot off the gas (and the Devin Brown and Julian Sayin drives were about as unsightly as USA establishing the run at LSU in the 2H). So, not bothered by those two losses, would play em again.
- I don't hate the Illinois TT over. They were 1st-and-goal at the Penn State 2 late 1H and turned it into zero points after a fumbles snap, PSU defensive stand and missed FG. That said, the PSU defense came out for real in the 2H. Very pleased with Illini 1H call, one of my better angles of the day along with WKU and Navy.
- Okie St/K State under wasn't a bad play. The worst part about it is it forced me to watch Okie State's offense way more than I otherwise would've.

All things considered, this is what happens when you make 18 plays on the week and 17 on Saturday. You'd think I'd have learned by now. Maybe next week.

Thinking about Bama, Louisville and Army TT overs, all could be good for ladder. Lean Ole Miss TT under but not sure I have the stomach for that.

Lean Indiana and Iowa (think this is a tough spot and potentially matchup for tOSU), may play Hoosiers, won't play Hawkeyes. Texas Tech obviously is tempting, assuming a letdown from Arizona. Will consider Stanford if it gets back to +10.

Vols 1H -7 and -13' for the game both tempting. Heupel off the bye vs an overmatched opponent, Gators next week so no lookahead, think UT DL will eat Arky's offensive front and Talen Green alive. Actually I don't play many props but Talen Green rush yards under seems worth a look (I see it 47' at one of my outs right now). Vols front should take 15-20 off with sacks.

Great recap.

That's one time later in the week helped for the OSU TT being played.

100% right. I thought I was slick with my 39' +140, one more TD and I've have been loving it because I played the ladder with both that and Navy. Those plus-money TTs are so tempting.

Bought out of Bama/Vandy over after Clark Lea's comments about pace, sounds as if Vandy will be taking the air out of the ball from the outset. Will still count in record of course but in case anyone is considering a play on the over, I would pass.

Thanks for this heads up.

Feels like a game where Bama gets more points after HT.

Think only other play I'm definitely adding will be Louisville TT, will play it at 31' where i assume it will open at my other outs. Will play the ladder on that too. Passing on Bama TT due to aforementioned pace concerns. Other TTs that I like but on which I'll likely pass: Stanford over, Army over, S Carolina under, Michigan under, UAB under, Tulane over.

6–4-1 +2.05u week

14-14-1 -0.95u YTD

Will wrap up with some thoughts this afternoon. Not counting the Bama/Vandy over. I posted it then bought out, so no fair calling it a winner, but if it had lost, I'd have fairly had to count as a loss.

Similar to last week, didn’t feel overly fortunate or unfortunate. It’s fair to say that I was the on the lucky side of getting Rutger to push rather than lose, and Sparty to win rather than push. Other than that, all of the winners were relatively solid. Wisky was fun and a lesson not to pay too much attention to steam.

UConn was a bad pick that never had a chance.

Was simply on the wrong side of Vols, Pittman is tough as a dog and I rode the Vols train one week too long. Oh well, pretty sure there’s more wins to be had backing them this year, esp 1H.

Baylor/Iowa State was a bad call. Initially was attracted to that by the weather forecast and how low-scoring ISU has been in the 1H recently, really controlling the ball and playing conservatively.

The one that really hurt was the Louisville TT. Cards had so many chances but couldn’t protect Shough (and when they did, did didn’t come through). Wasn't a bad call, I'd play it again, unlike the other three.

Week 7
1* Northwestern/Maryland over 45'
1* Clemson/Wake Forest over 60
1* Army -26
1* Georgia Tech TT over 31' (-115)
1* Mississippi State/Georgia under 55 (-105)
1* Tennessee 1H -7' (-125)
1* UCLA 1H +3
1* Kansas State/Colorado over 56'
1* Boise/Hawaii over 61
