2021 NHL Playoffs

I am still contemplating adding a Habs series price right now; it is sitting at 6.8 on Pinnacle. Teed mentioned this and I agree a ton, but if the leafs lose tonight game 7 is truly a 50/50 game as opposed to what the implied winning probability will be at 70%+. Keefe by all accounts have the guys focused, and the veterans are there. 3-1 series rarely get blown so I'm expecting a ton of effort tonight. I dn't think Sandin will draw in, Dermott is much more physical and it's not like the PP was that much better with Sandin in it outside of the one PP bomb he had; kids goign to stick, just need to get beyond this series and everyone can collectively sigh in relief and the narrative of being young and immature dissipates a little.

Part of the reason why I've taken the Rielly props as he'll slot into the first PP team as well he will be joining the rush alot. Nylander has been fire all series and I expect for him to continue; still waiting on Matthews and Marner to get going as they've been buzzing but just a little snake bitten right now. If they lose this series, they will be getting a ton of heat with only 1 goal between them currently.

550 fans in the building, do or die and the narrative surrounding the Marner/Matthews contracts. Time to play match ups for Keefe and use that to his advantage. Players will love that there are TML fans coming in tonight.

God I hope so, for the sake of this city I really hope he comes through. Or else this city will burn on top of how Doug handled this pandemic

Could technically trade for his rights next year and try to extend. Might be more inclined in a different market

I think he gets moved this summer, they'd also probly love someone like marner locked up long term when they have a hard time with free agents

Columbus would need to send back more though for sure hypothetically

Some quick hitters here: MAF will be in net for Vegas. MAF was rested after the quick turnaround from game 7 and I felt bad for Lehner cause you knew he wasn't coming out even if it was going to be a blood bath. Game 1 showed us a lot of things, but the two teams aren't off one another by 6 goals so I'm expecting a much more closer game.

Not really changing my angle here, i'm hoping Montreal/Winnipeg is a ABAB type series; I think the Vegas/Col series comes down to taking care of business at home. Vegas were the better team Game 2 as well. Jets came out slow and now don't have Scheifele for 4 games. Pretty close to a due or die for the Jets IMO.
