I don’t think lad can get away w not using Jansen in this series. These games will be close and someone other than Urias will have to close out games. Lad have the more versatile lineup, tb the better pitching and it’s lined up the way they want it

Seems right in line with what I anticipated. Ultimately the Dodgers bats ended up being the slight difference in the NLCS. Gun to my head, I think it plays out in a very similar fashion in the World Series, but tough to ignore the value on the Rays.

hate to say it but im afraid these doyers are finally gonna get that championship that has been eluding them in hilarious fashion. No way I’ll be paying thst price tho, I’ll prob pick and choose games to be on rays when I like the price. Maybe stick lad in a parlay the days I like them.
rays were 6th in the league in ops vs lefties this season and they got some platoon guys that smash lefties, that could potentially really limit Urias who was a freaking weapon in the Braves series. Cash has the ability to put Roberts into some uncomfortable decisions with the a way these rays constructed. I think a game or 2 might be decided by how each manager handles things, imo that advantage Cash, not only cause I think he better but he has more guys he has 100% trust in while Roberts is clearly iffy with some his pen (for good reason)!! I could see a few games where I might like dodgers 1st 5 -.5 or some other creative way of getting on them early at times but I don’t think I’ll wanna be against rays late in games!!

The one concern I have with Glasnow is his walks and sometimes Walks turn into runs with the Dodgers, so i'm hesitant with my books's O/U of 7.5.

Question is whether they let Kershaw go past the 2nd time through the line up. The way managers have been working, they seem to be pulling Starters earlier and earlier, but I guess they might not do it game 1 of the WS and let it ride due to no breaks between the games.
And Glasnow hasn't gotten past the 5th inning typically either in the playoffs or short regular season which stresses that bullpen - which while good -- Showed some cracks against Houston due to so much usage in the playoffs.

true, I think the extra day for Rays be helpful and they have so many guys in that pen Cash trust. Compete opposite of what going on with Roberts and his pen, he has to let his starters go as deep they can, and as we all know Kershaw becomes very vulnerable around the 5th thru 7th in the postseason. I was really crunching some numbers on both pitchers and I think the best thing to do with dodgers if you like them and have the option is to bet them to be leading after the 3rd inning (when I realized I had this option I have been using in creative ways for sides and totals!! Got totally hosed on Braves leading after 3 innings in gm 7 when Anderson fell apart with 2 outs in 3rd, killed my +185!! Made me cry!! Lol).
I dunno what price is till I get to casino but I think I’ll be looking at a lad leading after 1st 3 innings but still looking to play Tampa for this game cause I think their pen in great shape right now and I believe a couple these platoon lefty mashers Tampa has will get to Kershaw 2nd-3rd time around. I believe Roberts has to let Kershaw pitch 6-7 if he doing well, if not then I still feel great with Tampa ability to bring guys off the bench to match up with any lad pen guy!

Most places won’t let you do rl and total will they? I’d have been crushing these Mfers for years with +1.5/under parlays but could never find anyplace that let me!! It does seem with all the new options they letting more things go, I havnt even tried this cause figured it be a no go. Please god let them allow those next year in baseball! I’ll get Mfin rich and that not hyperbole either!! That a mfin fact!!

i havnt gotten into Fanduel besides for dfs yet since I gotta drive across river to make bets I’m just going to the brick and mortar which is draft kings at the casino queen. Being the old school type cat I am I do love me some walking in, putting my cash down and getting a ticket!!! They might allow it too I just havnt even thought to try. I know one thing, they nuts for allowing those!

Glasnow isn’t a starting pitcher. Dude can’t go past the 5th. He’s either gotta get more efficient or become a closer imo. 3-5 innings isn’t good enough

yup 2 pitches isn't enough......and a team of good hitters (IE the dodgers) can still turn any FB around eventually), but i think he's more like an opener....If the series goes to a Game 4....does he pitch again? and is it maybe for just 3 innings or so?? The Walks are an issue though...which is a problem he had while in Pittsburgh.
And so much for the Vaunted TB Bullpen.....
This could easily be a 4 game sweep as the Dodgers are hitting right now and scoring runs. Unless TB can produce some run production it's going to be difficult for them to win the series.

yeah he needs to develop a 3rd pitch unless he’s gonna become a closer. I think he’d be lethal in that role only having to go an inning, maybe 2 here and there, and not having to face batters a 2nd and 3rd time thru.
tb will still have a shot bc La really only has 2 starters then it’s a crap shoot but yeah they will need to hit

don't think that'll make sense for TB on the business side. The top value pitcher has always been the starter and they've proven they can dominate the late innings with league minimum contracts

there is a massive lineup disparity, but Glasnow didn't have fastball command last night and i don't think he could have done better than 2 runs considering how many Dodgers just missed fastballs and popped them up instead of homering.

I did not realize they had few days off during WS. That makes me thinks rays have a much better chance. Even winning gm 2 and with Snell being dominate you can see doyers lineup so damn good a great game is 5 innings without getting clobbered. I mean Snell was on last night and 3rd time thru they got to him! Rays gonna need those pen monsters for all 4 wins (if they can get them), getting a day off today is huge, then another after game 5. Think that gives them a much better chance than I initially thought.

look how many pitches and walks glastnow had just to navigate thru them pretty well for 4 until for some reason getting left out there to get beat up on game one in 5th! Morten been great but they already know his numbers 3rd time around against anyone are not good, there no way they letting him pitch past 5 vs them even if he on, this day off huge cause now they can employ exact same game plan to give them great chance in game 3. I don’t think they scoring 6 next game, unless they can get Ferris Buehler out the game and get to lad pen, cause he gonna strike out a bunch!!
