2018 March Madness 4-man Snake

No i get it. That is how most are set up that I have seen. So yours is more normal.

And I get it that people want a shot after they get decimated the first two days.

I just think it would be better something flatter and then maybe 20% to the owner of the outright winner so that everyone has interest to the end.

It isn't a big deal this year but in some years there is a clear best team and in those years the random number generator picks the winner of the contest. I don't like that either

sorry guys, been traveling since 1am Sunday morning CT

I see UVA is really popular on early selections, but i don't think there's a Patriots pick to be made this year (if I can gloat about my wins league victory thanks to getting first pick)

The 1-6 is just simply pick the winner, while all wins being 1 means something when a 4-seed wins twice and the 1-seed wins twice before getting upset. Am I missing something here? Haven't slept, but i don't see anything obvious that says the 1-win difference is terrible so i'm curious why egg is so opposed

People like different things. I don't begrudge Egg because I don't want to do it the other way and don't want to be pressured into it, either. So I don't want to pressure him. Of course, $500 for me is a lot more than it is for Egg. For every penny I have, Egg has a $100 .....

Hopefully we find enough to do it GW.

Most people that like the progressive style want to make sure they are in action for the tourney for their buy in, GW. So a bad first two days doesn't have you sitting there with no shot of coming back.

That's why I suggested maybe 20% to the outright winner so if you are down to one team in the elite 8, you still have a cheering interest and a chance at 4/5ths of your money back. Meanwhile, there is still the winner take all that can happen if the pts winner is also the finals winner.

I dunno.

Most people do it Eggs way. We are the weird ones.
