looks like DET may have a meaningful game on monday, much to the chagrin of MLB and CLE.

Gibbons seems like he's gotten worse as a manager, also losing Benoit during the brawl (that TOR foolishly started) looks like a bigger and bigger loss. It may not be easy for TOR because BOS still has to hold off CLE as they only have a 1/2 game lead

Tanaka not pitching for NYY tomorrow despite wanting to, makes sense for NYY as an organization while LAA is inexplicably starting Tyler Skaggs for reasons I can't comprehend. Big for BAL who probably will start Ubaldo on Tuesday if they have to use Gausman on Sunday (hilarious)

Meanwhile NYM has clinched a wildcard spot, not sure how that'll change their plans this weekend though I expect they'll save Syndergaard for Wednesday. He's supposed to pitch Sunday so the rest will be odd, but may be a big help
