Best game in Vegas, for this and other reasons.
agree.

First time playing a few years ago at Ballys (I know, I know, Ballys), but I rolled for at least a half hour. Hit 4 points (buddy had $10 on a Fire Bet that pays 1000-1 if the roller hits all 6 points before crapping out). I was on #5 and finally rolled a 7. I think I made $2k during my roll and I started with a couple hundred. Crazy shit.

any good strategies for craps? still learning

Don't chase the field for four straight rolls with a triple up bet...it worked epically for two days at the Hard Rock once, my biggest casino wins ever (boxcars paid triple and that was important) but I gave it back over the next couple weeks. But the run was fun.

Think the right way to play is to play pass/come with max odds for three rolls then pull it all down after...but no one does that. Fun game but the only way to win is hitting numbers with odds and don't play the carnival bets (like field)

So you just pull it down and pass roll?

So you just pull it down and pass roll?

Talking on everyone's roll, you should just pass altogether and not roll. Reality is the money is in the odds with pass/come bets but can't press your luck. Of course the excitement of a 45 minute roll is lost.

VT could stomp em here

I have a VT ticket so ain't trying to get too hype and feel bad for ARK backers sweating this shit

still learning, any tips or strategies?

I mix it up, depending on my bankroll, how much time I have and how the table feels. It would take some time to explain, but I love playing and teaching people how to play. Strategies aside, if you catch a good roll you can win a lot of money, but you can't be afraid to put it out there and press when the table heats up. Never chase on a cold table though...that rarely ends well.

So new shooter you like pass and come for three roll total or three rolls post point make and then take it all down?

i've done so bad rolling so far in craps. feel like such a goon.

Find a grip and motion that are comfortable for you and PLEASE, PLEASE throw them the same way every time. Nothing worse than a guy on a roll who decides to throw a shorty or into the other corner...guess what's coming.

Allegedly that's the play and obviously max your odds. Again I've never seen anyone do it and I'd imagine you might get the boot real quickly if you did that. And it really would suck as far as entertainment goes.
