2015 Golf

Adam Scott going to give the short putter a try this tournament. Maybe an opportunity to fade?

Thanks guys.

Yeah I thought about fading him, hes also coming off a lengthy break. You've got two pretty good choices in Spieth and DJ, but decided not to because he's just so solid tee to green. You don't need to make a ton of birdies at this course so he doesn't need to putt awesome to finish well. My two cents anyways

And to add to the tough course, there's no cut so he could play poorly on Thurs and Fri, get the broomstick back out, and play his way into contention. Not betting it, just thought some might like that angle

Last week: 4-1 +155
YTD: 17-10-1 +538.75

Decent field for the Valspar this week. Haven't looked a ton but looking at possibly fading Rose again with Donald. Luke has great history here and form seems to be coming around.

Not much going on in Euro Tour event but I'll take a look through the card.

Opted against Donald because Bovada has a Kuch v Rose matchup.

Kuchar -120 over Rose 60/50
English EV ov Woodland 50/50

Don't have much of an opinion on the Moore/Westwood match. Both in pretty good form.

I faded Rose on both matchups my book offered: Donald and Snedeker. Double cash. Thanks for pointing me in that direction

This line just seems silly. Have to take a stab.

Kaymer +147 over Palmer 50/73.50

Still looking at a few others. I'll try to be back later.

Thinking about fading Jimmy Walker. My book offers Kuchar -120 and Zach Johnson +105. I know it's his hometown, but Walker hasn't played all that well last couple of times out, and the pressures and/or comforts of home may not have him 100% focused

Thought about fading Walker as well, ultimately decided against it. Don't mind the Na play, but English has extra motivation to get to Augusta.

Added to more plays.

Spieth -123 over DJ 61.50/50
Laird +107 over Hoffman 50/53.50

Good luck this week fellas.

Good luck this week fellas.

Considered the English Masters motivation angle, and after watching him fart away a golden opportunity on a course tailor-made for his game, I think the pressure might be too great on a course that he doesn't play well. Hasn't finished better than T-61 at TPC San Antonio. Ended up playing Kuchar over Walker as well. Good luck on your plays this weekend Law

Only down like 50. But I got good odds!....

Good call

Sorry man. Ive been shell shocked since keying in the wrong bet. Still up on the year and only lost a couple hundred. Most of time has been focused on the stock market. GL

Thanks gps, you too. Not looking like a good week for me.

Well the good news is that I clicked the wrong bet and am not against walker. But I did click kuchar over Zach Johnson, so it will be a loss all the same. The Na bet looks good though

Last week 1-2 -50
YTD 20-12-1 +588.75

Taking a similar route and playing two dogs whos price seems high.

Ortiz +130 over Dubuisson 50/65
Westwood +138 over Oosthuizen 50/69

Streb -135 over Molinari 101.25/75
-Molinari had to WD last week with a bad wrist. Wind and rain this week won't help that feel better. Think it's possible we see another WD.

Good luck all.

Bad week last week. +387.50 YTD

different approach this week. Just took a bunch of small top 20 props.

Reed +120 20/24
Snedeker +135 20/27
Westwood +135 20/27
Matsuyama +180 20/36
Casey +220 20/44
Bradley +225 20/45
Haas +275 20/55
Kirk +330 20/66
Todd +350 20/70
Tringale +550 20/110

1st round three ball
Haas -115 115/100

1-0 +100 today. Haas beat Dufner by 5 and Crenshaw by 22.

I'll be looking at 2nd round plays later tonight.

Thanks BAR.

Adding three scoring props for Round 2.

Horschel u71.5 +110 50/55
Day u70.5 +115 50/57.50
Tiger u72.5 +115 50/57.50

Great fucking work bro. Just wanted to stop by and let ya know you are appreciated in here and a great golf capper win or lose.

Thanks HUNT. Appreciate the kind words.

2-3 today and gave back 57.50. Tringale probably should have won that matchup though. Horschel probably had 4-5 three putts. And Day just didn't have it going.

3-3 +42.50 so far this week.

Day tried to lose this on the final two holes but just held on with 71.

4-3 +142.50 this week

Thanks guys. Ended -5 on the Top 20 props but +137.50 for the week.

YTD +525

Fairly nice field this week thanks to all the RBC guys having to play. Curious to see what Spieth does this week. Probably won't touch him either way though.

Listed a few thoughts in the discussion thread. Made a handful of plays for the week.

Reed +145 over Furyk 50/72.50
-where did this line come from? Furyk got hammered today as it was +105 this morning.

Haas -140 over Hoffman 70/50
-Charley went all out at Augusta last week. Putter started to let him down on the weekend. Expecting a hangover.

Todd -108 over Martin 54/50
-Todd is my guy this week. Been playing well outside of Thursday at Augusta.

Laird -115 over Els 57.50/50
-Laird has all the stats to play well here. Ernie has a T64 and three MC here the last four years.

Guthrie -110 over Stadler. 55/50
-Stadler still recovering from broken bone. First played Masters last week and it didn't go well. Read an interview where he said he doesn't feel ready. Would like to go bigger here but Guthrie is a scrub.

With wind and rain in the forecast tomorrow AM, played two PM longshots to be 1st round leader for real small.

Baddeley +10000 5/500
M Putnam +15000 5/750

Good luck this week.

I kind of like Els here, has a nice history from what I recall (maybe not recent). GL This week. Admiring from a far.

Think I saw where he lost in a playoff once, but it was his only top 20 there, even though he plays every year.

3-1 last week on matchups for +90.

YTD: +615

Zurich this week with a meh field. Same with Volvo China Open on Euro Tour.

Not much of anything got my attention. Thought about taking the week off but made two small plays.

Prugh -110 over Crane 55/50
Adams -125 over Brian Davis 62.50/50

Thanks Tim. I appreciate it.

This week isn't looking too good; guess I should have stayed away

Thanks.

Cut moved to -5 late this morning when it looked for longest time that it would stay at -4. My two guys of course were -4. Both only woulda beena few shots back for the weekend. Ah well

0-2 last week. +497.50 YTD.

I've had a mixed bag of results with Match Play over the years. Here goes nothin.

Two favs and three bigger dogs on day one.

Walker -135 over Woodland 135/100
Day -142 over Hoffman 142/100
Grace +170 over ZJ 50/85
Wiesberger +192 over Donaldson 50/96
Jaidee +120 over Kaymer 50/60

Kinda got screwed on Walker. He had the better score, but lost the match. Tough break.

Yeah brutal day. On to the next one.

Casey +120 50/60
Mahan -127 63.50/50
Reed -138 69/50
Lahiri +172 50/86
Matsuyama/Kuchar 50/68.15

With you on Casey, Mahan, and Reed. Also fading Henrik, been sick and spent a lot of time complaining about the format yesterday. Don't think he's mentally in it. Also on Schwartzel at +160. DJ historically not a strong matchplay guy, and his distance advantage is somewhat mitigated by the need for accuracy at this course
