Zion isn’t fat, he’s just big. Guys that size aren’t supposed to have the explosion he does and go 100 mph everytime he’s out there. He’s just got a body type the nba hasn’t seen before that’s has this kind of athleticism. No one would have batted an eye had he not injured his knee at Duke, and that was just a fluke injury with his shoe coming apart. A torn meniscus isn’t all that bad, pretty routine, and they are being cautious, rightfully so. Better to repair and clean it out, let him heal fully, and there should be zero after effects. I fully expect a heavy dose of load management with him, and to miss games when he’s healthy
