good morning fellas, one of the most exciting days of the year. Everyone puts their time in and comes up with a different angle. I have been playing the horses for years and typically am a win, pick 4, and pick 5 bettor. I will be posting race by race all the horses that I think have a shot. I will then post a horse that I will be betting across the board. This and Derby day are the only days I play across the board since there is value, and large fields. I will also post my pick 5 and pick 4's play. I typically play 2 tickets, using two different single. Good luck, and please please feel free to ask me anything or bounce ideas off one another.

Race one, last night I liked the 11 at 8-1 thought I had a steal. However, looking at the tote board there isn't value on that horses especially 6.5 down the hill with traffic problems. I am changing my top pick and my wager across the board to the 13 who is being overlooked. You have the top jockey, and the classiest horse in the field by far, cutting back with a good post. Let's not forget the outside post is often the best post down the hill.

Race 1: 4,6,8,11,12,13 (29)

Win= horse needs to come in first
Place= top 2
Show= top 3. If your horse comes in the top 3 you get paid.

Pick 4= horse terminology for parlay. Can use any amount of horses you want to win 4 in a row.
Pick5: same thing.

every different combination you use is .50

So on a pick 4 hypothetically, if I use

Race 1: 6,11,13
Race 2: 3
Race 3: 5678
Race 4: 12345

That would be 3x1x4x5= 60, however it is a .50 wager so only $30 ticket.

Talk to me about the turf.....was focusing on tomorrow's races (i think I'm only playing pick 3s tomorrow) but I always hit a wall on the turf races......I can never figure out where or when or why a race breaks down and it becomes a crap shoot....all turf races seem that way to me.....
